I really hope not. I actually despised it more than Armor Lock.

Unfortunately, it’s returning. We don’t know how it operates, however.

I disliked jetpack also but i think Armor Lock was much worse not only because it was extremely cheap but it also ruined gameflow

I’ve head its for sure in Spartan Ops, but i don’t think anyone knows its status in multiplayer yet. i agree tho, hopefully not in multyiplayer.

Face, meet desk. The Jetpack actually ruined Reach for me.

I saw it in a Spartan Ops video and I will try to find it. It showed both Thruster pack AND Jetpack.

As far as I know, there is NOT a Jet Pack in Halo 4. There is a new Thruster Pack, but that’s for a horizontal boost of movement, not any kind of vertical movement like the Jet Pack.

Halo was always about map structure, and when you can just fly 150 feet in the air gaining a extremely unfair vantage on your enemy or getting to the “map control spot with ease”, it destroys that

I’ve been researching an it is definitely in Halo 4 Spartan Ops, but no one knows if it’s in multiplayer yet. I hope that is is because it was fun and added interesting gameplay. To all the people complaining about it, it was pretty easy to shoot people who were jetpacking because they have no cover.

Jet pack was very funny in Reach - in campaign and firefight. In multiplayer it is annoying as hell and should be removed immediately.

This isn’t about Thruster Pack. Jet pack and thruster pack are 2 separate AAs. I’d like Thruster pack to officially replace Jet pack at least. Jet pack needs to stay in Campaign and Spops, not MP.

If someone just jetpacks straight at you, then yes it is relativley easy to hit to floating noob, but if your one shot get behind cover, and your opponent has jetpack… your -Yoinked!- and its not even that… how many times has someone jetpacked to a position that would take anyone else even with sprint a minute and a few kills to get to? Its just unbalanced and dosent belong in MP.
