Red team has seemingly vanished from the canon which feels bizarre to me considering (correct me if I’m wrong) they had first contact with the Banished and if the Lore from Halo Wars 2 is accurate also beat the Banished.
So where they at though?
For me personally I love Red Team far more than Blue Team and Master Chief. I’d love to see a DLC where we take on the role of Jerome.
Aren’t they still on the Ark?
The two novles Shadows of Reach and Divine Winds explain a little bit more of what happened to red team and the banished after the events of halo wars 2
They haven’t disappeared from the canon though. They’re just fighting what’s left of the Banished contingent on the Ark as of October 2559.
Red team have been in the lore loads latwly
But they are sort of busy… yano with the ark being so far from colonised space and the events divine wind.
It be cool to see them back in a dlc that has the sof tricked by a created posing as unsc AI and put into conflict with the banished who are actually trying to stop an ai from taking over instalation 00 and see a truce of sorts.
The hope for me is atriox goes on an arbiters journey and joins the unsc in battle.
Against both the created, lead by the didact. An army of his prometheans and unsc turn coats with mark hamil as the hunt the truth preacher on coms.
Setting up the flood who have been using the logic plague to puppeteer the entire requiem/guardians incidents and give the ur didact a chance to see hes been used like the arbiter and atriox before him.
To set up the final conflict of the universes current arc the floods final test for the mantle.
Humanity succeeding by joining with the other precursor created instead of the route of subjucation used by the forerunners.
