Suppressor?
Please indulge me what weapon it beats out at the same range. I’m not hating on it, I just have yet to find it better than any other weapon in the game. The only use I see it is using the homing projectiles to one shot anyone running away with their shields already down.
If someone isn’t looking at you, is kinda far away but also kinda close, and there is no cover to be seen anywhere nearby, then the Suppressor owns. That’s a lot of variables.
The suppressor sucked in Halo 4, but it’s actually pretty good in 5. It has homing rounds that do more damage than say, the AR. I’d take it over the AR anyway 
no cause when against an AR all you have to do is back pedal and you can win. Its also great for curving around cover and getting a kill. Its not terrible one just needs to know how to use it effectively. I used to think the hydra sucked but now that i know how to use it, i realized it dominates at mid range.

could be the light rifle.
1 v 1 against any other rifle, I’d say the light rifle will most likely lose.
It’s a good long range weapon when no one is shooting at you.

I think the LightRifle is actually better than the Suppressor, just because it can 4/3 shot. Although LightRifle VS Battle Rifle is not good for anyone using a LightRifle.
It’s better then its predecessor from 4, that’s for sure. As for worst weapon, it can be debatable.
The suppressor isn’t that bad.
Spin up before engaging an enemy, and dash in to cover before you die (your bolts will still track and kill the enemy.)
The base boltshot and light rifle are terrible at 1v1 though. Only good for ambushing people in the open. Closed Fist should be the base boltshot all the time.
maybe its just me but it is perfect on coliseum and you can easily grab it with the rocket launcher or scattershot,
as long as your not running strait at someone your gonna win most of your 1v1s ive even taken out 3 people all guarding the flag with the suppressor
and its also great as a lvl 1 req for warzone
Totally disagree. I pick this weapon up all the time, and if I use it correctly I beat out a lot of other players who are using a wide range of weapons. Sorry bud, but you’re doing it wrong.

one of the best parts about halo 5 is that for ones all weapons are viable and usefull unlike dodgy dual wielded smgs of yester year which where just a glorified brick if you didnt have both of them… honestly all weapons are pretty great (but the railgun is the greatest weapon of all time)

Worst is probably the plasma caster IMO. Should have been named the Assist Machine cause that’s basically what it is. Probably the first power weapon in the series that I consistently see no one even bothering to pick up. It’s great in campaign though, it just didn’t translate into multiplayer very well at all unfortunately.
I would take a suppressor over it any day.
Scattershot is probably the worst weapon. The human shotgun is in a whole other league compared to the scattershot.
