I am more comfortable in gold/platinum levels so giving me a free onyx is an insult to the players that actually earn theirs

I couldn’t be bothered finishing my placement games. I got my rocket commendation and then didn’t touch that disaster of a playlist again.

Yep i’m pretty sure this is related to the same thing I saw in the swat playlist when game first launched. People who don’t belong in onyx get put in onyx because not enough people have placed properly yet.
Like it if go 0-10 and am awful but am among the first groups to place in a playlist - how do you know where to put me? Sure I’m below practically everyone else - but you don’t have enough people for placement yet. I could be the worst player in the first 1000 players - but in theory I could be better than the next 1000 people for all we know. It can go the other way as well. A later player can be vaulted into higher rank than they should be because they got to play and beat some of the trash onyx players that got put up at the beginning (since there is no matchmaking in first 10 matches supposedly). The game system doesn’t know and is severely flawed the way it just throws people into placement after 10 matches (no one should be in onyx after 10 matches).
I played it for the commendation and decided to finish and place. I got silver 1. Never won a match. Site says I was 150/162 KD. So no wins gets you silver haha.

4 games and 1 emblem later and all you could see was the dust trail as I ran from that playlist.
I played like 4 games of it. my god that gametype is deadly slow. The respawn time is what killed it for me to be honest. in a rockets FFA it shouldn’t be a 7 or 8 second respawn. it needs to be faster.

I was in last place most placement matches andmy KDs made Jeff Steitzer cry. I still got platinum. I noped out of that playlist extra quick.
nope. I just went into RR to max out the rocket commendation and then got out. I did in 5-6 matches. Plus, it doesn’t matter that much as it only lasted a weekend.
I’m only onyx in FFA, and RR.
My service record is forever stained because I kept playing after getting placed in RR this my CSR was higher than it is in FFA. Can’t be bothered with FFA, only kept playing RR for bonus XP.
