So... Invincible vehicles maybe?

Well since BTB is essentially spawn with PP and 2 stickies and the vehicles genrally die super fast I was thinking what if they just made vehicles immortal like in Halo CE?

Far too often I see the opening rush and 3 min later every vehicle is dead and im just walking aorund on these gigantic maps playing a cross between wheres waldo and infinity slayer. All the while we all sit with camo, DMR, and some Darjeeling Tea

I dont know about you but I go out of my way to play BTB for some vehicle action. Odds are most of you play it for the same reason since exile and ragnarok, which both have the best vehicle variety, almost always gets picked. Since we spawn with such potent anti-vehicle weapons, can find them on the map, and can poop them out via ordinance in addition to vehicles being as tough as bubble wrap I was thinking that invincible vehicles could really work.

It would make BTB less campy and constant vehicle action would be the order of the day. If running and gunning is your thing we have infinity slayer for that. Plus we can all run with our PP’s and stickies getting many a multikill and vehicle kill medals.

What do you think?

Immortal gauss hog on exile? That would be horrible.

I’d rather have the PP EMP shut down the vehicle weapons along with the vehicle engine. It’s insane hitting a gauss hog with a PP, running up to toss a grenade and having the gunner swivel around and kill me.

Invincible gauss hogs and banshees? No thanks.

I’d like that. I’m tired of getting in a Banshee and getting shot down in all of 10 seconds when everyone on the other team decides to start shooting their Plasma Pistols at me. Sigh.

But the Gauss Hog? Don’t make that invincible. Please.

DSight you do realize that that would make the PP incredibly OP. It’s stupid that you can really spawn with that.

(Re)spawning with less plasma grenades would fix that problem.

This is a bad idea, some vehicles definitely need more health but invincibility would be even more broken than the current under powered state.

Well you know that would mean after you kill the enemy teams gauss then YOU could take the gauss for your own use.

Where as now it just goes boom and the other team 90% of the time just picks it up again at their spawn

They should have let drivers use their AAs with vehicles. I would LOL watching a Scorpion form a Hardlight Shield.

Just to make sure i am being understood. I mean that say you PP and double stick Blues gause as it goes between tank and banshee spawn

the damage just gets transferred to the gunner and driver, they die and now your team can take the gauss

another idea
To be balanced they can make banshee die from 1 stick, tank with open hatch, and gauss dies with 1 stick?
