SO increases to Legendary, people quit

I seriously don’t get it. I’ve completed Reach and Halo 3 on Legendary, I’ve done 3 levels already with a friend on Legendary. It’s difficult but not impossible to beat. It’s like people have never attempted a Halo game on Legendary. I’ve had better luck on Reach’s Co-Op Campaign matchmaking and most people chose Legendary. People don’t like having a challenge on Halo 4 it seems, they want everything to be easy…not to mention people who cannot play worth crap and run me over 8 missions outta ten.

People no get easy XP with no effort involved, people no gusta.

I love SO on legendary. Perhaps now it isn’t a total Spartan blasts the prometheans fest!

I was getting tired of pure blazing through.

QUIT QUITTING YOU QUITTERS!

Don’t know if that’s sarcasm or not, but I’m not complaining about quiiters. Just addressing the fact about people thinking Legendary is supposed to be a walk in the park with Halo 4.

Legendary is a joke in this game.

I don’t understand how you can find a co-op game mode with infinite respawns and no punishment for dying “difficult.” If anything makes it more difficult to play though, it’s the horrendous lag.

H4 SO puts you up against unbeatable odds regularly, unlike campaign, which grants backdoors and never has so many enemies. It makes it highly likely for deadlocks to occur, and people hate deadlocks.

What’s worse is that I just played a Spartan Ops game for the last of my double xp tokens, one quit out during mid game and there was a guy who was idling. Mind you the idler make an excellent spawn point lol.

So it was me and this other dude and thank goodness he has regeneration field and I had auto sentry and we blazed through it no problem.

If you think the campaign on Legendary is hard, try Spartan Ops solo on Legendary.

Campaign will always be harder than Spartan Ops on Legendary for the simple fact there’s no consequences for dying.

I was quite enthused when SO went from heroic to legendary. Legendary is so much better. I remember doing the first 3 episodes solo / legendary to unlock something on waypoint, and it was tough. I died many, many times.

I disagree SO was fun on Heroic, on Leg it’s just a slow slog to the end.

One thing was clear for me and that was the Legendary Lag.

I don’t think people quit because of the difficulty it’s probably to do with the lag that makes the game unplayable. It’s ok most of the time but when it’s bad it’s awful.

I actually prefer it on legendary.

Iam kinda glad it was heighten to Legendary,Heroic was getting to easy.

What many people don’t seem to realize is that SO was designed with 3-4 players in mind hence the amount of enemies, it was never intended to be done by 1 person on legendary.

The people saying SO is too hard are the people that don’t understand the basics of any FPS game or Halo for that matter. You can pretty much kill anything solo with a BR,PP,and P-grenades.It seems to me the ones that die allot lack enough common sense to understand that when ya charge an elite general with a assault rifle, 9 out of 10 times your gonna die, just saying. Not sure whats so hard to understand with using the PP and BR/DMR/carbine combo, its like some people lack even basic gaming fundamentals, which leaves me one question. How did they ever figure out how to navigate the Xbox dashboard? Its baffling to say the least.

Then again this is the opinion and view of someone who has common sense and a above average understanding with the basic concepts of video gaming. If they wanna use there BB gun on legendary, then they can do it without me and run and gun on easy mode where they belong.

Side note:I refuse to play with lag so i will leave, and why would i care about random peeps without mics, they are not worth ruining my gaming exp over.Yes there are exceptions in that some lag is bearable, but not when you have 1+ seconds delay with every action… which i refuse to play with.Half sec lag delay time is pushing it with me, and quarter sec or less is barely noticeable.

i dont care for legendary in halo. i prefer heroic. that seems perfect for me but to each his own.

Legendary is easy, it been easy since like reach/3.

If there quitting, its most likely not because its on Legendary, its probably the connection. I’ve played a fair amount of Spartan Ops by myself, and have never seen habitual quitting, I’ve seen AFK players, but never habitual quitting. Spartan OPs isn’t that challenging on Legendary and enemies are balanced, so you don’t exactly have all these elites with fuel rods shooting at you.

Also people want a challenge in Spartan OPs. Additionally, its alot easier to accidently runover teammates then it is to splatter a suspecting enemy.

There are few missions that do require three people, since a lot of enemies can just gang up on the one or two players. But even then you have to count for the inconsistent host problem that Reach had with FF/Co-op campaign.

I sometimes quit a SO mission due to the devastating lag.
