It’s solid. Microtransactions are not intrusive and though the game has various problems, ultimately it is playable. I’d say that in and of itself is a godsend, but in 2016 many games have been shipped complete and playable. EG: Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, as just one example.

Attempt to avoid paying sixty whole dollars. If you want it as a Christmas or Birthday present, then it’s a solid gain to have. Do not feel pressured into getting MCC for any cosmetics.

I will tell you here and now though, on the note of cosmetics… Don’t get your hopes up for any one particular type you want, either. You will get random items. You will not get duplicates on permanent unlocks ala Overwatch, so you’re good on that.

Get Bronze packs until you clear them, then do the same with Silvers. Do not purchase Requisition Packs, and use only the points you get from playing the game.

Gameplay wise it’s a whole 'nother animal altogether. All the enhanced movement options change the way the game is played considerably. It will take some getting used to. But you will get used to it. Reticle positioning is direct-center, as opposed to Bungie-era offset, which if I’m frank I honestly prefer for the added vertical situational awareness. But that’s just me.

Every weapon has an ADS type system that adds to your aim-assist range. It even shows distance-to-target so you can really understand the ranges. Lucky you. If only it stood out better though, right?
