The recent community update (as well as a tweet from Franky) pretty much confirm that Forge will not be shown off at pax. If this is the case then what are we getting? What kind of advertising is 343 going for? If Warzone is all we get then it had better be a new map.
Probably a full reveal of the maps we partially saw at Gamescon.

Well, if the forge reveal is not tied to any specific event like PAX, then I suppose we could literally get that reveal at any time. Prior to, or after Pax. Although I don’t see them holding off much longer than early September.
I assume BTB & Forge will come together after Arena, Warzone, and Campaign are 110% functional for everyone online. Which means the waiting for BTB & Forge will take a few weeks or months.

No Forge at Prime. Or at least publicly.there will be forge, probably at a press only event,so what they do show us the public better be enough to keep us going until the press are allowed to talk about it, but i’d still prefer to see and hear about forge directly.

in response to the topic title though, hopefully we will see details on the weapon/vehicle variants available in req packs, a first look at a new TV spot to kick off their wider marketing, playlist details, confirmation the game just went gold, announcement of a second beta for the purpose of testing the servers not the game (the hype train will explode if that happens), hunt the truth S2E1?, easy file sharing for customs and forged maps (a custom game finder maybe?)

Plus the Sprint episodes.
Maybe they will show more of Halo Wars 2? or a new look at the campaign of Halo 5: Guardians? or something completely new? There are many possibilities.
Oh goodness! By the looks of the title you chose, it seemed like you were implying that Forge wouldn’t be in Halo 5. Phew! Thank God!
OT: IDK, prolly more multiplayer stuff. I don’t want them to show much more campaign footage. I’ve seen nearly too much. I need to be surprised when I play thru it!
Marketing wise, it would be wise to show off Forge so close to release. With Forge 343i has a huge potential to spoil some of the bigger surprises they may have hidden away in things like Forge or the Campaign. I don’t think we will see a Forge reveal until either a few days before launch, if at all.

Can you link the Tweet? also the community update doesn’t really say anything. all the say is that they have Warzone playable on the floor.

Thats not at all what this question is. Forge is coming in the game at launch, we’ve already seen a second if footage in the sprint and 4 forge maps. We’re just talking about when they’ll show it off. They would warn us like with BTB that it wasnt coming.
Honestly forge is half the reason I buy the games. If forge isnt revealed soon, I’m going to get nervous.

I hope they have a stress test before the game launches, because no one likes broken servers at launch, and 343 has already messed up with the MCC, so they really need this game to be as close to perfect at launch as possible.

Their not showing any Halo Wars 2 till next year unfortunately and personally i really hope they don’t show any more campaign since i want nothing spoiled. I hope they show off some new warzone maps, Raid on Apex 7 sounds insane.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think 343 has anything scheduled for PAX.
Just so nobody is confused but you would know that there is going to be a pretty crazy Forge in Halo 5 considering that the 3rd week beta map was made through the forge tools. And if anyone else remembers back to when H2A Forge was announced how the creative team stated that more maps in future will be designed and created through forge, just to clear things up. As to what we should expect I guess we’ll have to wait until the end of September to see if 343i spill the beans on what is in store.
