Are you asking for people’s opinons as to how the game will start, or you simply asking how the game will start? Because if it’s the latter, then the answer is a resounding “no one knows”.

guess so yes,halo 3 also didnt start like in the first trailer even if it was different
i read somewhere that it wont start like in the trailer and the E3 trailer is not even from 343 so we dont know

You should have just said “potato.” I also can’t believe this is a thread. This is why the terrorists hate us. That whole region sits on a resource the entire world uses and 75% of the people over there don’t have running water.

Nice question. A whole bunch of stuff happened before Chief jumped out of an orbital MAC cannon (and I think he first did it without a bomb?). I think a whole bunch of stuff will happen before making it to the planet. Perhaps a zero gravity battle with ninja robots as the ship around him exploderizes and then you finish the level with a staring contest against the planet. The staring contest will be video gamings longest quick time event ever and the winner wins cheese.

I don’t know how it’ll start, but pretty sure it’s not like the trailer. maybe chief finds Infinity, get into it and then crashes to the shield world…

I think the Forward Unto Dawn will crash land in the shield world, the UNSC Infinity will go in after Chief and he will get his new armor from the UNSC Infinity or something like that…
As stated above no one knows. However, I believe the dawn will crash into the large opening of the shield world (shown in the announcment trailer) and crash land on the planets surface. The UNSC Infinity will be on the planet along with Fred, Kelly, and Linda all in MJOLNIR MK VII armor. John will be taken aboard the ship, given the armor, and along with the other spartans be given the objective to head down to the planet and retrieve forerunner tech. This is obviously speculation on my part. This is how I WOULD LIKE the game to start, so dont go flaming or anything.

That’s pretty much exactly what I think will happen as well, another idea is that the UNSC Infinity is unable to land near where you crashed because of it’s size so the first mission could be you playing as Master Chief wondering around the shield world trying to get to the UNSC Infinity to get your new armor or you might even play as one of the other Spartans and have to go out searching for Master Chief and his crashed ship.

A) When have you EVER known ANY TEASER Trailer of any kind layout the entire intro of a movie. A trailer is supposed to be comprised of the most compelling parts of whatever’s being advertised.
B) There’s too many “What’s going to happen here” and “How will this start” and “Show us EVERYTHING!!!”
Learn to have some mysticism and anticipation people. Everyone pined and threw out their “GIMMIES” for Reach and look at how that reception turned out?
Over-hyping excites as much as it brings you down.
Two words come to mind the more I see people -Yoinking!- about Halo 4 - Rude Awakening.
Personally, I have no clue, but I since I haven’t been able to geometrically place what shield world is potentially opening up, it is possible MC is crashing landing into one of the unknown shield worlds. Given the last location of the Ark and that the shield world of Onyx where the books indicate Fred and the rest are at, there’s just no way to know for sure what’s happening. All i do know is one thing, we know that at the end of the book, Polanski and the others did not indicate anything had changed about MC’s believed death. Ultimately… I’d like to see him reunited with the UNSC as soon as possible.
the start of the game play dosnt have to begin like the trailer, but at least have the first cutscene like it, halo 3 ending MC “wake me when you need me” halo 4 beginning chief wakes up i dont see why they would start halo 4 differently
