does that mean the multiplayer armor also gen 3 armor as well?
and if you think im wrong i highy recmoend slowing down the boot up sequnce for the trailer aside from a ton of easter eggs it shows that the armor john is wearing is in fact gen 3 miljnoir which he got 3 months after halo 5 in 2559 and it also showed it was last modifed by dr halesy in 2561
so does this mean that gen 3 is in production in infintie or is john’s armor the protoype for the platform much like mark 5, mark 6 and mark 7 were
I don’t think we really know for sure or will know until later down the line. While it can be assumed that since Chief has a Generation III suit others would be using the such by now, we can’t really say for sure. Imo, I think it’d only make sense for there to at least be some Generation III’s out there other than Chief’s. Like you said, if it was built in 2559, either the armor from Generation II is still in use(which I wouldn’t doubt) for those who still have it while being produced for a next generation, or Chief got a nice snag of the future since his VISR was pretty busted.
Even so, we don’t know for sure.
Pretty sure the reason we have a new generation of Spartan armour is to explain the changes in gameplay we’ll see later down the line. This way, it’ll make sense as to why Spartans can no longer use Spartan Charge, for example.
With this in mind, it’d make sense for both Chief, and the multiplayer Spartans, to be using Gen III armour.
Makes sense to me. I can’t see evidence of the normal shoulder/calf thrusters we see on Gen2 armour ala Halo 5.
Classic movement confrimed??!?!!?!! (Commence speculation sequence)
