so i was thinking bout this

so most modern fire arms have 3 settings. So I have to ask why dose halo not just have one gun with three settings single, burst, and rapid all bye using the d-pad halo does not use at all and everyone would be happy . just saying no military makes 50 types of guns for a regular soldier to have . and only officers carry pistols so i’m just saying one gun for all it is what they do now anyways why would it be different in the 1250 years from now.

I was think about this a while ago, and it could be a decent idea. The problem is so many people want there to be a huge variety in the sandbox and this would just combine three weapons into one.

is it really that important to have a huge variety. instead of pressing y to change wepons you press y to flip a switch with your thumb never bringing the gun down . this is a good idea to me it would be in my game … just makes sence

Because I enjoy this science fiction universe with an expanded sand box.

Hopefully this sandbox will mirror CE and the Reach beta in weapon variety and balance.

Yes it is.

Because Halo’s gameplay consists of the core value that you have to choose two appropriate weapons. Your idea kills this balance and strategy . . . So 343i will probably consider it . . .

for video games is more fun to have lots of weapons than having just 1 for every occasion

i’m not saying it needs to just be one gun i just like assault rifle start and most like br/dmr then it would make me and you br guys both happy two birds on stone to say the least
