Does anybody want the old Scorpion back? We have the H2 BR, we have the CE Godnum, we have the Mk. IV and the Mk. V. Personally, I would like the old M808 to come back, because I’ve always loved the look of the original Scorpion.

I wouldn’t mind, but is it really needed? We get a hannibal scorpion which finally isn’t just a reskin with more armor
I do feel that the new scorpion feel a bit stumpy without the treads that extend further foward and back of the main body.

I don’t have a problem with the new design but I do miss the machine gun built into the turret.

i dont care what your problem is, the scorpion driver should have control of the turret.
I think it would be better if we got the M808B, with the coaxial driver-controlled machine gun.

Did you ever play Halo 3? Or Reach? Or even Halo 4? Those games had the M808 Scorpion. Halo CE and Halo 2 had the M808B Scorpion, which had a co-axial machine gun attached to the main gun.

Well, it would be like the H2 Battle Rifle or the CE Magnum. It would be different in its own unique way. I just miss the old Scorpion and I feel that the updates would be better received if they had more things, especially from old games like the Scorpion. As it is, we are getting 2 armors, one of which is actually new (DYNAST), the other is a reskin; one new WZ map, and most likely its WZA variant; and a bunch of REQs, including the Hannibal Mantis and the Hannibal Scorpion. So, I would have liked more honestly, and I feel that more old stuff that 343i could bring back, as well as more maps, would have been better.
Halo 2 Scorpion: Faster in movement and aiming, faster moving cannon shot (near-hitscan compared to what we have now), and the chaingun would be under the control of the driver as well. In other words, we would have a tank but it wouldn’t suck. I’m sold.
