So I Tried Super Fiesta.

And it isn’t a bad gametype. It’s very fun and chaotic, as intended. However, I have two gripes with it, and wanted to know if you guys have had this same experience, and if you agree or disagree. Anyway…

  • Too many rockets I see a majority of the time that players spawn with rockets constantly. I don’t mind it, but I think it could be toned down a bit, especially since there are over seven (?) variants of it (SPNKr and Default Rocket Launchers).

  • Spawning with default weapons too muchThis has happened to me more than I would have liked it to. 70% of the time, I spawn with default weapons (ex: default supressor and default magnum) while others spawn with Ad Victorium, Prophets’ Bane, The Answer, etc. We already have a fiesta mode, and this is Super Fiesta, which is suppose to allow us to use variation REQs. I would personally remove all default weapons from the mix of Super Fiesta, and have variation REQs only.

Other than those two, the gametype is really fun and enjoyable!

I think it’s just like any other fiesta in the past, I get -Yoink- pistol, John gets a rocket. Next life I get a sniper and John gets plasma pistol. It’s still fun and part of fiesta is you getting random weapons and trying to make do with what you got. I think removing most of the standard weapons could somewhat ruin that fun for me.

fyi: I got normfang for first time ever yesturday and I’m in love. :)))))))))) that’s how excited I was.

Not just rocket launchers, incineration cannons are a little unfair too.

I wish we had bigger maps, I feel that the maps a just a bit small for the chaos that is Super Fiesta

Yea, medium-sized maps would work better.

I do agree that there are a bit too many rockets and they are rather op, especially the ones that hold about 8 rockets.

I also tried super fiesta, 8/10 not enough rockets

Odd I seem to always spawn with Suppressors and Plasma Pistols

Just spawn me with a rock and twig

actually fiesta in halo 5 has to do with the req rarity, if a req is legendary you get it much much less often, which is why you get loadout weapons.

fiesta is fiesta, The randomness is what it is. The reason Rockets and Cannons seem so common is because you can survive longer with them

i love it , and i love spawing whit a norfang , but stealing it from somebody is the best feeling in the world , it must be som anoying to get it and then get killed :stuck_out_tongue:

I absolutely love it! Although I agree with the OP about normal weapons coming u too often, to an extent. I don’t mind it that much since I get super pumped when I get a badass weapon (that glowing blue gravity hammer comes to mind hahahaha!!) But other than that, I think it’s fantastic and hope like hell 343 keeps it in there.

I think there are too many inci cannons

No one is forcing you to play it, I love it

I felt like a got a good balance of different weapons. I did get the normal weapons here and there, but there’s always weapons laying around from dead spartans.

I don’t know, I’m content with it.

I love it too. I just think it needs some tweeks that’s all.

I love Super Fiesta, but the one weapon I hate and wouldn’t have any qualms about them removing from the playlist would be Tartarus’ Gavel. Increased movement speed, increased shield and jump height? Yeah, you get about 6-7 kills with that weapon easily if you get it from RNG gods.

Which always seems to be the other team in games that I play…

What they could possibly do to make it a bit more chaotic on both ends without it being one sided is:

Make it so that the weapon you spawn with is always a power weapon (Shotgun, sniper, rockets, etc), and the second weapon you spawn is a loadout based weapon. That way, everyone has a chance to get a power weapon and not get defaulted by the RNG to get just loadout weaponry. If it was the regular fiesta, we wouldn’t need this because we don’t have the 4-7 different variants of one kind of power weapon to deal with.
