So I only realized this just now

Each episode of Spartan Ops has a cutscene associated with it that you have to press Y to watch!

Am I just an idiot, or did anyone else not realize this either?

No actually, pressing Y was the first thing I did when I got into Spartan Ops.

Are you serious?

<— Sucker.

What the hell? I never saw an option like that ever. Gonna try it out later.

I figured that any associated cutscenes would play automatically, when you first played a level of the episode.

They’re actually really good scenes, too.

not only is there an option to watch them by pressing Y, but theres also a whole menu that holds all of the cinematics. Its the one that comes after the matchmaking tab in the spartan ops menu. I honestly don’t know how you could have missed that.

You must be extra stupid or extra blind.

Because we had an entire ‘Episodes’ menu right beside the place where you play the missions.

I knew there were cutscenes but I just assumed they started at the beginning of each chapter… I played the first chapter with no cutscene and then figured out you had to press Y in the menus to watch the cutscene for the whole of Episode 1.

Didn’t know about the menu, thanks! I’ll have to look later.

To be honest, I figured the cinematics were just the little talking bits at the start so never thought of pressing Y until the second week of SO whilst I was waiting for my team to come online.

Wow, I missed them too. I am an idiot.

I had played through episode 1 on legendary before I even knew about the video. Was totally awed by it. Was somewhat less enthused by Ep2’s video, and Ep3’s video is looking like it’ll be about as interesting, judging from the trailer (still awesome, just, not as much as Ep1).
