Please tell me i’m not the only one who had no idea that this was a thing.
Side question, what does it do for the sword exactly?
Extra range 
It doubles the lunge range but prevents sprinting.
Which is a bit of a moot point since you can just sprint, jump, zoom in while in midair, then divebomb at people from miles away.
I had no idea that was there cause when I have a sword I don’t think of zooming in with it
It took me a bit to figure it out.
That explains a lot. I will have to try it out next time.

Only found out myself bout this last week. It’s very effective, they won’t know what hit them!
I had read somewhere that every weapon would have a Smart Link, so that was actually one of the first things I tried when I picked up a sword.
