Is this some kind of a joke? I’m sure there are other threads discussing this, and I may be a little late to the party, however this needs to be discussed again. This is absolutely ridiculous, we’re going to have to tolerate a completely broken game for at least a month? This is absolutely unheard of, I’ve never seen a company leave their game broken for long periods of time, especially when they actually have a decent sized active community, are you guys trying to kill the game completely?
After the Jerome hotfix, we finally had the game somewhat balanced. Then you guys decide to put out an untested new leader, and do an outrageous game breaking buff to Forge Hog, and then tell us “Well we got other stuff going on, we’ll fix it later this month.” That’s an absolute slap in the face. Forge Hog is completely broken with his Y ability, there’s no legitimate excuse for letting him go around this broken longer than week. He can wipe out an entire army by pressing Y. There’s no way, anybody play tested that.
And I’m not trying to be negative or a complainer, I love playing this game, love RTS games, but at some point 343 you have to do right by your customers, especially those of us that have been here through day 1 and shelled out $80 to you guys. I originally bought this game to play on PC, I’m PC guy, however since the game was broken for the first month on PC, I went ahead and switched to xbox just to play this game. And now, nearly 6 months later, the game is still completely broken. SMH.
I am usually a big defender of 343, but in this case, I can’t justify keeping the Serina exploit and the OP Forgehog around. Seems to me if you fixed just those two issues, life would be a lot better.

I understand a lot is on 343’s plate, but come on. Is it not possible to put in some overtime to fix Forge Anvil Rounds and the Serina Exploit? That’s all that needs to be fixed to make the game playable, other balance issues can wait.

343 NEED to come up with a better plan to release new Leaders. Luckily many other dev studios have come up with great alternatives that work:
New Leaders are only playable in Social plalists for a season length.
Once the Season ends the Leader can now be played in Ranked playlists.
This way new leaders can be playtested by the community in non-ranked playlists, and if any issues arise they wouldn’t be as catastrophic as these issues currently are.

Kudos to those guys at Spartan Company for trying to get something going. However, we shouldn’t have to do that. The fact that this game is nearly 6 months old and it’s currently broken is outrageous.

It sounds funny, but I’m actually serious, there has to be someone we can speak to about this that can get something done. Do we need to get a petition going or something?

Sign me up. I’m tired of having to pick decimus and colony just to maybe cost ineffectively counter a forge hog.
They’re gonna take a month to fix it? I’m on vacation and I haven’t played the update but just hearing it makes me question if I’ll play HW2 when I get back. I’ll probably just be playing Operation Spearbreaker and then try to finish up H2’s campaign on Legendary if they’re gonna take that long.
Just play other games til it gets fixed this isn’t a competitive game right now it’s a casual game their is no reward for the time you put in. Plus you say gg in this game you get a toxic reply back this game is unbalanced or your playing a op leader when you weren’t even serina or forge…I’ve barely played these last two seasons I’ll just wait till it gets right. Imo you can’t even take this game serious till you get a spectator and replay functionality.The Youtubers can’t promote the game well or even host tournaments without those proper functions. This is all my opinion and do agree with some of the points made in this thread…
