Honestly with the massive knife on the front of the Ravager, I was sort of expecting it to do extra melee damage like the Halo 5 AR and BR with the knife attachments. It doesn’t even do that. The Ravager is just a giant bottle of ketchup. I had a challenge for like 15 kills with the Ravager and immediately skipped it.
The Shock Rifle is a pretty good counter. Also since a Sniper or Skewer also always spawns on that map, it’s pretty good.
And while the Hydra is pretty lackluster against players, it’s pretty good for knocking a Wasp out of air.
Wasp goes down in 1 Skewer shot, 1 Shock Rifle shot, a few Sniper shots, 5-6 Hydra shots, 5-6 Disruptor Pistol shots, or a well aimed Shock Grenade that gets close enough. They’re also easy to grapplejack. Alternatively, homing aimed Cindershot isn’t bad if they don’t move too much, and iirc you can also shoot the propeller blades out of it since that’s the vehicle weak spot for the Wasp. It’s not OP at all. The wasp is pretty easy to take down.
bruh you literally completed all weekly challenges in a day. You can get 17 wins in the next 6 days bud calm down
17 wins over a week seems reasonable to me
Where you hiting the wasp with a shock rifle to one-shot it? It seems to take 2 shots just for it to be EMP’d much less dead.
Is it 2 shots to EMP? My bad. I personally hate the Shock Rifle and never use it. Shock Grenades are better imo.
killing sprees are much easier than anything else listed. you literally need what, 5 kills without death? in Fiesta you start with random weapons. so it comes down to luck and swapping to things like rockets and hammers. 5 was nothing compared to “win 17 pvp matches”
keep in mind - most people aren’t playing to ‘win’ - because MOST challenges aren’t about winning, they are about lone wolf nonsense like killing 10 with gravity hammer. If your in any mode besides slayer with the expectation to "win’ - your in the minority.
Ive played 4 games this morning so far, the 4th crashed to desktop so sadly null - and the 3 that completed - were losses. Some by a close margin, by 1 by an obvious hacker (was 30-0 in a slayer match, had walls and aimbot) at least that game was over in like 5 minutes, but still, doesn’t help my “win 17 matches” nonsense.
meanwhile - in fiesta - most people ARE Playing for the absurd chaos and random kills - so it’s more logical to get nearly every challenge there, that isn’t vehicle related.
Edit - so thats 5 ‘quickplay’ games that are total losses. just not worth it. sure 1 crashed to desktop, but man, when you get teams that don’t care because “i get 50xp win or lose” it really REALLY sucks.
Even worse, it’s PVP only, so you can’t knock it out in bot matches
no, thats not the point.
first - not the point. just because I can spend hours in a game for test/fun doesn’t mean everyone can - imagine working a 60 hour week, and this is what your rewarded with for your free time eh? you spent the week doing them little by little - now "win 17 pvp matches’ is your final challenge to feel that sense of accomplishment, when who knows how many you won during those other challenges.
secondly - this could have been unlocked day 7 -meaning i’d have THAT day to do it.
thirdly this implies that OTHER PLAYERS will be trying to WIN as opposed to the normal “just doing my challenge” mentality tha 343 has instilled in us. Because face it - most games people don’t care if you win or lose, since it’s 50xp all the same, it’s those 10 hammer kills or 3 hijacks they care about.
You literally completed all challenges in 1 day. I assume you have enough free time to win another 17 games.
Got total control first game of the day today.
not a single win in over 2 hours of playtime. Everyone literally just saying “so what, it’s 50xp if you win or lose”
they aren’t on this final weekly yet. when i tell them they say things like “don’t care, not my challenge”
THIS is the problem 343. This sort of challenge needs to be ‘first up’ not “final surprise” 17 wins, when no one cares bout wins until they have a challenge for wins - makes for a NOT fun gaming experience.
It doesn’t matter how good I am here, I have to rely on a TEAM to win, no matter if it’s quick play or BTB - and when they don’t give an F because “it’s 50xp either way” - it doesn’t go well.
Just carry bro. If you play the MVP role when no one else will, your chances of win go way up.
If you aren’t getting 20 kills or more in a Slayer match, you don’t really have a place to blame your team imo.
the secondary fire of the ravenger is nice for area denial though.
I’ve won 7 in a row for my challenges today. I’d say play Quickplay or Ranked. Much easier to make a difference than in Big Team which is far more random.
@Ken_CTF Quickplay had nothing good.
BTB started to look good -but now the servers/multiplayer is offline. So… yea FFS.
@xBx_Austin_xDx your logic is flawed. I can go 20 and 0 - and if my team just camps around waiting for the match to be over (yes, this happened) We still lose. It’s not a matter of “how well I personally do” but a matter of “if the team is trying to win or not” - because most challenges - don’t require winning, in fact they are easier to obtain while losing.
You’re misunderstanding what I’m saying. I’m saying unless you are going 20 or over, then you can’t really blame them.
What I’m implying is if you aren’t doing your own part to excel, and are instead “relying” on your team while you perform poorly yourself, then it isn’t really your team’s fault.
Challenge system is clearly designed to make you grind more. The fact that you have a set amount of weekly’s but can only work on 4 at a time and you can’t even choose which ones, what a joke.
TFW I need 17 wins but for the last 4 games I had two quitter on my team and someone who went 4 / 16 in slayer.
