So I heard wza team limit was reduced?

i often play with a group and we usually run in 8+ but we havnt in about a week. This rumor true?

I hope they reduced the team size! It’s to closer phobic in one area

Um instead of punishing people like to reduce playing with randoms as much as possible why not just play free for all. Halo is a team game after all and teaming up should be encouraged not shunned

So instead of improving matchmaking to match party vs party more often nuking party’s is a better idea I don’t get that logic

Matching party vs party seems harder in WZ. Where is the line drawn two 6 man teams match up with another two? Match up only groups of 4 with other groups of four? Match a team of 12 with 3 teams of 4?

Maybe in arena it would work better, but WZ is a casual environment. If team size has been cut in order to prevent farming than so be it.

How do you expect people to get many thousands of kills reliably if games end fast? You need 486,000 kills for one commodation to max out at level 5. 12 man death squads is really fun to roll with because in wz you can be creative on how to attack the other team vs BTB which is just basic big team. And wz has stuff that regular modes don’t have

Toooooooooo baaaaaaad.

The needs of the many outweigh he needs of the few in this game, at least for once. A team of six can still do some damage, but matching 12 man death squads against ransoms was ruining the experience for most.

they reduced the party size to 6
Full fireteam size is still 12 though dont knnow why 12v12 is too many players for WZA for you ?

…because the Playspaces are 2 tiny. Garage is alright. But 12v12 for 1 Weaponry? I don’t like it at All. It’s like you’re in a Disco Face2Face. I need my Room and Air 2 breath, haha… xDD

Edit: I mean, u can rip off some nice Multi Kills with a Plasma Caster, if u attack (or defend, if everyone’s already inside) but I don’t know… :'D

I thought it was limit imposed upon all WZ playlists?

Seems ineffective to impose the party limit on WZA only. Farming doesn’t really happen in assault, just steam rolls straight to the core of time runs out.

Has someone confirmed it the party size restriction impacts WZ as well? Seems like the easy way out of the multitude of suggestions that were made, but it is better than nothing.

Farming does happen in WZA. They’ll get your spawns and then let one person out who will be stupid enough to cap the next armory, base whatever and extend the game so they can keep it up. It may be a trial before they put it into effect fro WZ as well. I would prefer they matched teams vs teams, but this might be easier for them to program…

lol yeah how do you expect him to farm and ruin your game experience by being a try hard if he cant roll a 12 man death squad on a social playlist? come on meow lol

I’ve heard from a few friends that the spawns on Prospect is completely broken, even worse than Urban used to be before they patched it.

Just like with pre-patch Urban, a full team of twelve can occupy the enemy’s spawns and prevent them from spawning, but it’s a lot easier on this map.

I guess 343i’s only remedy is to reduce the fireteam size limit to prevent this.

But the death squad was not nearly as bad, or consistent, as the abysmal map balance or abysmal matchmaking balance. A “death squad” doesn’t stand a chance when attacking on storm break against a bunch of defenders that know how to exploit the map.

I like to build large WZ teams. And on those days when it’s difficult to gather a meaningful quantity, it was always nice to jump in to a wza match to kill time while invitees finished their respective games. Now that’s just not an option. Now we simply don’t play wza anymore.

Which is the reason that I would prefer team vs team matching as a way to deal with the problem. That way good teams don’t have to suffer for bad teams and the problem is still resolved.
