man I’m gonna miss finding skulls in the Campaign , whats the point of exploration if there is no skulls to look for?
Yea, i loved that too.
Especially when i met a new player online. I was going to help them get the skulls, it was so much fun. But i must say, getting the skulls in Aniversary was really boring.

You don’t need to have achievements for finding skulls. In Halo 3 they didn’t have any achevements for finding silver skulls. Achievements is a over used tool.

Seconded. Personally, I like how Reach did it where you started out with all of them. Didn’t have to find the damn things just to do LASO runs.
Well technically “if” we have to find skulls, there would be an achievement to unlock when you have found them. It just wouldn’t be for finding them.

True, but some completionists do it just so they have done everything humanly possible in the campaign. It is also be used as a tool to help the players explore the campaign. Achievements IMO aren’t really necessary because I know I’ll go looking for them if they need to be found, achievements or no achievements.

Silver skulls, Halo 3 Deal with it.
Also Halo Reach the Data Pads as well.
I like looking for skulls.so much fun in halo 3.
Who knows, finding the Skulls might be apart of the Challenges instead.
I hope there will be skulls. I like getting out maps and stuff. I figured since Anniversary had them it makes sense that there will be skulls in their first 343-only game.

They must keep grunt birthday party though, just doesnt feel right headshotting them without it on.
343 and their typical vagueness said, “skulls are out.” Now we know that they are in. So I am to assume that they meant hidden ones the first time or were talking about Spops. There are no achievements for skulls though. So it’ll probably be like Reach, where they gave it to us, which I hated.

Halo CE, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo: Reach. (Unless you count Easter Eggs, Audio Logs, and Data Pads)

CEA had skulls, so I count it, even though the original CE didn’t.
I read that skulls would work the same way they do in reach which makes me believe you just won’t be finding them in levels similar to halo 2, 3, and Aniversary

I actually think it’s been confirmed that they have to be found before they’re used.
