So I heard that bloom is reduced ......

I heard a couple of weeks back that bloom is reduced …any confirmation on that people.

Its kinda nice to have reduced bloom because I get annoyed when the 3rd or 4th shot that comes out of the pistol hits the ground when I’m 15 or 20 feet away from the wall , it kinda bugs me … don’t believe me try it

I’m pretty sure there isn’t “bloom” in the game, at least no Reach’s version of bloom.

It was confirmed by someone from MLG that the DMR does in fact have bloom, but not as much as Reach’s did.

That makes me sad face.

I think they said it was very close to visual indication of when you can shoot (similar to the Sniper Rifle).

The MLG guy playing the early build said his DMR had some bloom, but it was much less noticeable than in Reach. As in, he didn’t have to pace his shots quite as much, and it was still an efficient long range weapon.

I don’t even see why bloom is necessary. Hopefully it is just visual bloom, like on the Reach Sniper. Especially since 343 is trying to actually balance weapons this time, and we can spawn with a DMR whenever, a rate of fire cap just makes more sense.

The sniper rifle in Reach actually does have bloom. It’s not just visual. It just resets right before you can fire.

If you put bottom-less clip on the sniper and just keep firing, you will see that it doesn’t expand all the way…

The guy who said this also said it may be entirely visual.

Looks like the DMR has recoil now.

They said that bloom resets faster.
