Long story short, I stopped playing halo for a while because reasons.
So before I left, I was part of this Halo clan called Primordial Eclipse. I felt a bit attached to the clan because I had a part in its creation, but really didn’t have (Or really want) a leadership position. It was fine at the start, being in a newly formed clan and having a great team composure, but then it started getting a bit crowded. Being a 23 year old player, it can be a bit offsetting when the majority of your clan mates are only about half your age. It started becoming more of a kids club house than an actually military clan anymore.
To put it simply, it was a bunch of little kids wanting to rank up as fast as possible, and whining everytime someone else got ranked up instead of them, and so on and so on.
When Destiny was coming out, I missed my chance to pre-order the Ghost edition, and the limited edition. So I went and grabbed a Destiny PS4 for my pre-order. So yeah, when the game was released, I spent most of my time on my PS4 instead of my Xbox. I probably would have played Halo more, but I just didn’t feel like going through the whole “Where have you been? What? You’re leaving the clan? Blah Blah Blah”
Basically, I wanted to leave the clan, but I didn’t want to become a solo player again, and I didn’t feel like starting drama or anything by creating my own clan and asking if anyone wanted to merge to mine. That scenario never ends well.
So now, here I am, waiting for my Xbox One MCC Bundle to come in the mail, and possibly not having many people to play with on it. Luckily I will have time to get used to actually using an X1 while playing through the story again. I suppose I’ll have to at least play Reach before I get it if I wanted to play the story in Order.
I know this all seemed like a simple fix (and really, it was), but I was more focused on work than I was for gaming at the time. I guess I haven’t officially left, but as long as I have been gone, I’m pretty sure it’s safe to assume that I quite a while back.
So enough of my rambling about my problems, Ill get to the point now.
Im looking to get a group of friends to play with in the MCC, and prepare for Halo 5. Im not saying I am creating a Clan, but I have one in mind if it comes down to it. You can have a look at my service record and determine what kind of player I am yourself, though all I am really worried about is having fun and having memorable moments while playing Halo once again.
That’s about it. I thank anyone who took the time to read this. I know it was a bit of a read, and probably not too interesting, but hey, I got nothing else to do sitting at work.
If anyone does read this, Awesome! If not, Oh well, it was a good way to pass the time. See you all online when I finally get my MCC Xbox One bundle!
