i’ve been looking around waypoint wondering if there is anyway to see my xbox live friends list anywhere? anyone have this answer? and i know i can go to bungie or xbox.com but i want it all here in one nice log in…
Sadly not, although it has been suggested in the past, I wouldn’t be surprised if it happened in the future as from the iOS & Android app for Waypoint, you can see your Xbox LIVE friends & messages.
Funny you mention that: I’m currently working on a desktop application to do just that. I’m still trying to figure out exactly how I’m going to do that, but it will be a windows .NET app. I’m still working on figuring out the API access. If all works out, hopefully I’ll have something done in a few weeks that is at least working.

xbox.com has a pretty good interface. That and you can send messages to people in-game. I’d recommend there.

That feature is pretty much all I visit bungie.net for now; and their thing works pretty well. Letting my computer remember login stuff makes it pretty easy. Though it would be a nice feature to have over here, especially if 343 is able to include some xbox live message reading/sending features because of their ties with microsoft. Then waypoint would be a much more useful site, unless they made it look nice but function poorly which is always a concern.
