Battlefront just released and if anyone is like me, they are already kind of bored of it after playing for a week. Not to mention how divided the population will be when the season pass comes, and whoever didn’t pay over $100 bucks for the game is screwed. It gets boring and some have already returned their games. Sad, disappointing and typical for EA.
I wish people were still into GoW, but unfortunately that has seen a low population too. I mean there’s only 5 playlists for a reason.
Destiny is still alive i guess if people are dropping all that money on it but i dont know anyone who is still playing it honestly. So im not sure about destiny.
And that just leave Halo and CoD. Im not going to compare games im obviously biased since im on the Halo forums. But until Rainbow Six siege releases i think thats all we have for shooters
and fall out 4 and GTA and just cause (releases on the 1st) and rainbow 6 the siege (also on the 1st)
There are quite a few good shooters coming out soon quantum break is early next year the division and ghost recon wildlands also early to mid next year we’re surely due for the yearly battlefield soon right?
I am fine with Halo being my main shooter. Thats how I was with Halo 3, but then Reach came out and I hated it. SO I went to Battlefield, and unfortunatley COD. Halo 4 came out and I hated that and been searching or somehting to bring back the happiness Halo 3 did for me.
I found that in Halo 5, and I really could care less about any other shooter.
Halo, CoD, Destiny, Battlefront, and Battlefield 4: these are the current top COMPETITIVE shooters. Each have a dedicated fan base that won’t die out soon. Research them all and make your pick.
Don’t forget Battleborn (Gearbox’s new IP), which comes out in May, with an open beta before that. I played the closed technical test and it was a blast. Bummer they bumped the release back so far, but at least we’ll have the beta.
I would have gotten star wars battlefront but there is far too much DLC you should never be paying more for DLC than the game it’s self and paid for DLC in a multiplayer game is game braking cause it divides the population and you end up with DLC that you can’t use when the population dies down.
I’m hoping I don’t get it for Christmas which is kind of sad to say and I was looking forward to the game.
I wish halo 4 dlc would be giving out for free just so I can play the DLC I paid for I would probably play halo 4 again if that was the case but still have halo 5 to play that’s why it’s a maybe.

I don’t know the division seems lackluster, I basically followed the hell out of the game when I first heard of it but its Ubisoft and their online persistent practice that annoys me. Its what made me return the crew and I didn’t even bother opening it instead I got MCC. Don’t know about Battlefield we already got hardline and Battlefront from DICE which isn’t pleasing and they keep updating BF4.
Battlefield 4 still has a pretty good population and has been getting even more content recently. With all the premium content you get now if you buy new it’s a solid mp offering.
I’m loving Halo 5 but BF4 is untouchable in terms of weapon and vehicle variety, and being able to use what you want when you want. If I had to choose only 1 game it would be BF4.
halo is the only shooter besides doom quake and goldeneye i will ever fanboi over
cod isnt really my type of game
wasnt impressed with GoW
and Destiny is over there like: “hey we make sure Bungie still exists”
ye I wish Battlefront had the variety of Battlefield. As in…more vehicles…
Tomorrow I play the Jakku Battlefront DLC, should be interesting, but again, I really want there to be more vehicles…there are only 2 land vehicles lol, AT-ST (empire only, rebels can’t steal it) and Speederbike (Endor only). I’m not counting the AT-AT cuz you only control its gun.
