Got it, redeemed it and didnt get new specializations. Maybe there is a waiting period but this is a little annoying. I did redeem it over Internet Explorer via XBL though, didnt type it in myself. Still shoulda worked.

It is in your active downloads. You have to confirm that you want to download it, then the new specs are yours.
