I received the invite for the flight of Halo 3 ODST, on the Xbox One instead of Steam. The problem here is that I only own the Master Chief Collection on Steam, can 343 help me out here?
You don’t need to own the game at all to take part in flighting. If you don’t have an Xbox to play the flight on though, I would reach out to Insider Support (check your flighting invitation for the link) and submit a ticket to them about it
