So, I got this magazine in the mail a little bit ago, and was naturally excited to see Master Chief on the back, when I started to read it I started to realize, he didn’t belong there.
I smell a lawsuit!
Joke magazine?
Umm, did you read the article? It’s talking about how the military can use that material to make improvements in armor and in essence, make “super soldiers” like MC.

I’m rather aware at what the article was suggesting, and getting at, but using a proprietary image such as the Master Chief and the MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor in a completely unrelated marketing magazine, seemingly without rights, is what raises questions.
They can “talk” about it all they like, the question is do they have the rights to use the image of the Master Chief and the MJOLNIR armor while doing such.

Prove it and you’ll have a point.

Normally, if they would have the rights, there would be some sort of mention of either Microsoft or 343 somewhere in small print. I’m not seeing that here.

Very last page it says that it’s a free publication. Check the Game Usage Rules. Nothing’s broken.

Forgive me if I’m wrong but, I checked each of those pictures and could not find anything stating such.

Because OP only posted that page and not the very last page of the pamphlet.
I’ve seen this before, but the original topic is so far buried it isn’t worth digging up.
I thought it was funny though.
A better question is, if they make MC’s armor do they get the picture rights?
Obviously that magazine come from a rift through time and it came to you OP.
It state that Master Chief has succeeded in whatever he has done and has won a Nobel Peace prize…duhhh
