Im literally experiencing desync like every game i play i dont understand how co op is more important than a bug thats been in the same since launch that massively affects gameplay. I honestly dont care about co op and wish they would just focus on de sync. Ive always played halo for MP not campaign.
Maybe so they can sell more copies of the campaign.
Thats all they care about is money. Everybody just needs to stop playing this broken mess of a game.
Same, desync, bugs, shot reg, etc. It’s all a mess, I wish this game was created by people who knew what they were doing, not a bunch of preschoolers making a mess.
This is 343’s fault. The Halo trilogy that came before this 343 crap show had solid Campaigns that were creative, fun, they connected and explained a series of events properly and most importantly, they were re-playable.
As much as I want to play co-op for the new achievements, I am DREADING diving back into this boring single player experience lol oh my goodness, the more I think about it, the more I don’t want to replay Infinite’s campaign.
That being said, they are still working on desync. It’s just not a top priority right now, probably so they can get Co-Op finished for the newer players. It will give players more of a reason to buy Campaign or Game Pass, either purchase is a win for 343/Microsoft.
The worst part is, when you finally get a game where it isn’t happening it feels so good you decide to try again and just restart the suffering
Ah. Mystery solved.
No doubt both are critically important to the fans in general and its a shame that 343 is so strapped that they can’t work on both.
I guess we’re not spending enough in the shop. ![]()
Most people have stopped playing
If you actually close out of Halo Infinite instead of just shutting off the Xbox this is mostly fixed.
Because if you do not do this, the Xbox would just put Halo Infinite into “Quick Resume”.
When reentering Halo Infinite from Quick Resume, it will take you straight to the menu which you left and have to resync with online servers. Though it is successful with doing this, there are plenty of hiccups.
I noticed that Desync is far more common and that Campaign Unlocks don’t properly track if you reconnect to Infinite Servers via Quick Resume.
The best way to experience Halo Infinite is to actually close out the game and then open it again when you want to play the game again.
I and several of my friends care about co-op because we enjoy playing together. I’ve never played a Halo campaign for the first time single-player and I’m not going to start now. Sorry that’s not your style but it doesn’t mean it’s not important. You’re not the only person playing Infinite and co-op was promised to us months ago along with Forge.
With the way they’re bleeding staff they’re just going to finish things when they finish them. If you absolutely can’t stand it, I definitely recommend Division 2 as a fun alternative. (Genuinely, when HI gets on my nerves I go play it lol)
I habitually quit out of the game every time now because the game would never even work with resume.
Honestly I hate Quick Resume.
Because whenever a game or an app is on QR, it is running in the background and slowing down my update speeds.
It’s difficult to say what’s causing it and why so many have it while others, like myself, rarely feel the effects of lag in game.
