I didn’t want to get emailed by Microsoft about useless products (Opt-out of marketing emails) That’s a little fantastic isn’t it? I’m probably going to sell Halo 4 then as there is no reason to play the game anymore. I was really looking forward to hitting level 130 and having fun with the specializations but only allowing a certain amount of people reach that mark is one of the worst decisions I’ve ever heard of. Checked through all my emails and everything to find out that I didn’t receive a code because of a decision I made 4 years ago. Okay 343. Okay.

Don’t be so stupid, opting out of MARKETING EMAILS is not the same as not wanting access to the rest of the game you purchased and no one who checked the MARKETING OPT OUT box could have possibly foreseen this.
I did choose to opt out of “Marketing Emails” but I never received an email for any other game that I played this way for extra game content so how was I to know? It’s total irresponsibility of 343i to say that they are going to email us and have so many flaws with how it was done. I’m pretty sure they were aware of the fact that people needed Marketing Emails opt-in but neglected to mention it till after the fact. They could’ve done it so much better like have us go on here and confirm our email and Gamertag on here and have it be sent that way. Nope.

Never received mine and this account along with the email with it are my original ones so there is no mistake on whether or not I am on the right email. I live in the U.S. and played before the 20th. I just never received my code which has been something Ive been looking forward to from the 20th when I thought we’d be originally receiving them. I honestly don’t get why they can’t drop this into the Marketplace as a free DLC.

Um, “choosing” implies I know the consequences associated with each choice. It also, more specifically, implies a choice even has to be made in the first place in order to receive a reward. I, along with everyone else, had no idea you had to “opt in” to useless marketing emails from Microsoft in order to receive this code until it was too late. So no, it wasn’t “my choice”. Had 343i, or Microsoft, or whoever the hell was in charge of this fiasco been clear about this entire ordeal I would have been able to make an informed decision and actually choose to opt in to their marketing emails. But I wasn’t and neither were many, many other loyal Halo fans. It’s inexcusable.

Check your spam folder. Check if you accidently deleted it.
If you’re using an email from your ISP there may be a delay, or your ISP filtered the email.
I didn’t get mine either, I live in canada but probably because my GT accounts are under german emails.
I said I have checked my emails and everything. Inbox, Old mail, Spam, Recently deleted. Nothing.
I don’t see why you guys don’t just opt in to these e-mails. You only get an E-mail once a day or once every other day.
