and instantly get 1 shot by the phaeton pilots. I’m like alright ill just go back and get it because It wasn’t destroyed. However to my horror I realized that because the respawn timer is so -Yoinking!- long that it will despawn (which it did). Not only that but when you do a lot of damage to a boss and them you die it seems like all your damage is negated toward the boss kill medal. I once got out a spankr em and did almost all of the damage to a banshee pilot and died to it and then didn’t get the kill. Its just dumb.

That seems to always happen to me. If I hijack one or kill the fool on it, I will go on an awesome kill streak, but if I use my own, I get killed instantly.

I agree. They should just remove despawn altogether for power weapons and vehicles. Also, bypassing the word filter is against forum rules.

tbh, you were really asking for it when you decided it was a good idea to use a Ghost Ultra against Phaetons. Also “hard earned Ghost Ultra” get real, on many occasions I have lost a nice, brand new ONI Scorpion, and oh boy, but isn’t that easy to get back, right? Getting another Legendary ONI Scorpion is much easier than getting a Rare Ghost Ultra, right?

Actually since the both revolve around gold packs and depends of your certs an Oni scorp could be less rarer then an ultra ghost for people…like me.
Good examples of a few of the frustrations I’m experiencing in Firefight myself.
I’m enjoying it but it ends a lot of tweaks.
Also, I don’t think RNG counts as hard earned unless you mean you spent your hard earned cash on the packs

I got it from a random vehicle card.
Yeah, the REQ system more often than not leaves me feeling ripped off and angry. I spawned with a rocket launcher only to spawn right in the middle of a huge group of Promethean who instantly killed me. Total spawn kill and REQ gone!
You can have one of mine. I have like 30 of them.
Yeah, the player dropped weapons/vehicles should stay on the ground for a lot longer, the spawn-kill req wasted scenario happens a lot more than it should, I am all for increasing their despawn timer to 5 minutes instead of 5 seconds.
Man, the covenant are a joke in halo 5 but the Prometheans… God, those are lethal af. WZFF is ruined because of them. I could write a book how -Yoink- firefight has become since the beta. I’m only playing for the commendations, after that, I am gonna forget that firefight is a thing.
