So in Skirmish at Darkstar, me and my team took out the driver and gunner of a enemy Rocket Hog near our home base. About 20 seconds later, my sister found the hog unmoved. My sister tried to get me over there to drive her since I was close by, but I get gunned down before I can get to it. Then she tries to seat-switch to get into the drivers seat when another guy decides to drive her. At first, it was no big deal…until he drives it inside home base and stops.
He just kinda sat there with the hog right inside our base for a few minutes. Eventually a teammate who was his friend I guess, came up and was trying to punch my sister off the gun. Obviously it didn’t work, so he just kept doing it, I’m guessing to signal he wants to gun. She just stared at me wondering what to do. I just told her to stay there and give me a minute. I spawned in at home base, and to be a pain in his butt, I Spartan-charged the vehicle a few times, but I didn’t flip it. I just said “forget it” but my sister thought it would be a great idea to just stay there and let them get bored. I mean, if they want to ruin our fun, might as well ruin theirs. This went on for about 5 minutes, until she finally decided it wasn’t worth it so she jumped out and let them have it.
After she got out, I heard a squeaker cussing at us through game chat. I don’t know why, but I just laughed really hard. Then I laughed even harder when I saw someone on the enemy team get a double kill with their names in the killfeed after 20 seconds of my sister leaving the hog.
Why do people do this? If somebody is in the gunner seat of a hog, I don’t go out of my way to force them out to let my sister or one of my friends gun in place of them. I let them gun and just wait for my friend to get in the passenger seat.
Just like when someone took my Guasshog and flipped me out of it just to get blown up by the Hannibal Scorpion. Best Karma ever. Doughnut steel from other people!
People that suck at the game do that. I saw a guy spartan charge a teammates gungoose, flipped it and ended up taking it from the guy that spawned it.
Or like this guy in BTB who killed his teammate after assassinating me

Annoyingly enough a similar thing happened to me. I lost my Ghost Ultra to a teammate who apparently thought he would do better with it, so he Spartan charged until I flipped over.
Some people just have really dumb priorities in video games believe it or not. You just gotta deal with the trolls sometimes, karma always gets them in the end.

Immature players who think they’re “better” than you/people who REALLY want to get commendations/just plain -Yoinks!-.
Happened all the time in Halo Reach (and in 3 but to a lesser extent I feel) with the Sniper Rifle. Hemorrhage, grabbing the rifle-boom, friendly kills you, runs through the teleporter to get some “sick no scopes”.
Eats a Wraith round thirty seconds later. Team is loosing. Game often goes against you from there on out.

When you are using a vehicle in an effective place.
And teamate doesn’t understand.
.
They spartan charge you and steal it and run into thick enemies lines die.
.
I feel spartan charge shouldn’t affect friendly targets.
Unless they are holding a turret.

Some -Yoink- of a teammate Spartan Charged my Oni Warthog while we a friend of mine and I were driving around Garage on Escape from A.R.C. We flipped on that rocky ridge near the back. When he tried to flip it and steal it, the Warthog went airborne and landed on him, giving him a nice suicide.
Sounds like both sides were being -Yoinks!-. Nobody likes some stranger making use of their Reqs after they die. Chances are it was his Hog and he either wanted a friend to gun for him or he wanted to put the Hog somewhere quiet and gun himself with no driver.
If somebody gets in my Hog before my friend can I will often sit somewhere they cannot benefit from it until they leave. On the flipside I will pick up and use any free Reqs I find scattered around the battlefield. Loved Turbo for the fact there were so many good weapons just lying around on the ground.

Haha
i think he killed his camouflaged team mate because he’d “stolen” his assassination. People are nobs (the betrayer not the “thief”)
Nice little kill from the grave for you though
