I got an ACHIEVEMENT. Oh my god I feel so accomplished and like this wasn’t a complete waste of time. I mean sure, I’ve beaten every halo game on legendary by myself over the years starting with Halo Combat Evolved and I’ve only seemed to have gotten an actual reward in Halo 4 BUT I WAS EXPECTING SOME PRETTY FANCY ARMOR and stuff since that’s what I got in Halo 4, and it’s ‘343i’s Halo’. But man… life is hard… life is hard.
It’s not like I have any friends to even look at my achievements… Gonna go silently sob while watching anime now.
Well, it isn’t like that’d give 343 money, would it?
Yeah, I was expecting some fancy armor. Got nothing from my efforts. I used to care about achievement hunting, but after I realized that I would never be able to finish the online achievements for every Halo game since Halo 3 (because I don’t the map packs for Halo Reach and Halo 4), I stopped caring. I wanted something physi-virtual.
Also, if you are gonna go watch anime now, whatever you do, do not watch Rosario + Vampire. That show was way too weird.
I got something awesome when I beat H5 on legendary, it’s the same thing I get each time I beat it, and the same thing every time I beat any of the Halo campaigns on legendary. The satisfaction of knowing I did it solo and all the fun I had along the way. Savouring every kill, figuring out better ways of doing each area, stringing together grunt head shots (pop… yay!) and getting more efficient with every encounter on each lege’ run. Sorry mate but for me the reward is the journey, not a pixilated trinket at the end… just sayin’

I’m already tainted by the darkest corners of the anime industry. I will not be dissuaded now… Bwahahahaha.
Although that MeMeMe anime music video was difficult to watch and was kind of… mind… uh… RAVAGING.
I was happy with the achievement. And if there would have been an armor, waypoint would have hated it.
I find it rather disappointing that you get nothing from collecting the intels, or the skulls. not even an emblem.
Don’t worry, I’m sure 343 will release a Campaign REQ pack that you can purchase for a nominal fee or 500000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 RQ points accumulated through play.
Well, we never got anything for beating Halo 1, 2, Wars and Reach… So why are we expecting to receive anything other than an achievement now?
But I do agree, it would have been nice to receieve something for our efforts. A nice armour set or visor colour, at least…

I was expecting something like the legendary visor , or something like that. By the way, fighting against the Wardens in legendary solo is really legendary.
Why isn’t achievements and gamer score enough for accomplishing stuff in the game?

I beat Halo 5 on legendary and I got was this lousy T-shirt.

That’s the beauty of 343 and does the name you watch happen to contain any gums words? Every great anime has gunswords.
Wonder how some of today’s gamers would be playing old school games… they would be like what?!? All I for beating the game is to see the credits?!? This is crap!!!

I’d have to say that this is the reason I find this annoying. In any past Halo game, or just about any other game for that matter, I wouldn’t mind if I didn’t get some kind of “reward” for beating the hardest difficulty. I play them because it’s fun, and for the satisfaction of jumping that hurdle. Not for a prize at the end. When there is a prize, well all the better, but I don’t see that as at all necessary.
Knowing that the reason there isn’t anything rewarded for actually doing particular challenges in Halo 5 is that all the items need to go to the REQs, so people buy those packs, though… The fact that it seems fairly obvious that we would have gotten armor (or a visor, or emblem, or whatever it would have been) unlocked for doing things like solo Legendary completion if it wasn’t for the need for all really cool stuff to be REQ fodder winking at us for money… It puts a real sour taste on the whole thing.
Why do you think youre entitled to a reward because you played the game? Why can’t you just play for the enjoyment of beating the campaign on its highest difficulty? Gamers these days. SMH
I find campaign not fun anymore I stopped on h4. The reason is because gives you nothing back really in reality.

OT: I did it for the lone wolf achievement, but I was expecting an unlock which would’ve been great. Victory is it’s own reward, I suppose. 
H5 legendary is like h2 on normal. There isn’t a need for a prize.
