The story was amazing, but I had a feeling as if Cortana isn’t dead just yet. As for MC he looks like as if he was on suicide watch at the beginnings with that cut-scene lol.
Anyway as for Cortana not being dead, it reminds me of those other game/movie moments when you think one of the main charactershave died, but somehow, manage to show up at the very end.
But if anything, Cortana’s replacement might become someone of Cortana’s equal in a way.
What doy uo guys think?

Cortana is/was such an important character in the story; she’s coming back, one way Or another.

You should warn others that this thread is technically a spoiler.
I think Cortana will return through the Librarian somehow, though she’ll be a fragment of what she once was. The way I see it, the whole Spartan program, MJOLNIR, and AI partnering is all the Librarian’s attempt to bring humans to the level of the Forerunners. The Spartan Augmentations are similar to their mutations, specifically for those of the Promethean class, while MJOLNIR is like the combat skin. The returned Cortana may be similar to the Forerunner’s personal ancilla and wont have as much personality.
