I mean to play against since the patch? Is it a bit better or is he still melting your army before your eyes.
Voridus kills all of your army before you can blink
I played against a few in 1’s on my second account earlier today.
The nerfs definitely helped. Vord doesn’t "melt’ units with infusion anymore, but I still feel it’s too strong.
His late game potential is almost unchanged, though. Mealstrom and Cata remain two of the strongest leader powers (unit-killing wise) in the game.
All in all, he’s not as smothering early game but still feels like a better pick than almost any other leader, especially if it reaches late game.
I have never beat anyone playing Voridus, and once I played against three and they destroyed me.
Cataclysm is still a continent wide nuke, the goo still lasts too long, and the voridus hero still spews too much goo with his y ability

I can just imagine what you said at that moment just after everyones picked a leader and the load screen pops up. You know where it shows you what leaders the enemy team has picked, 3 voridus.
Voridus played correctly shuts down everyone early game and is untouchable late game. Nerfs barely even phased him.

Yeah they kind of barely nerfed him. Not to the devs, but please 343 don’t make it obvious you want people to purchase atn because of the leaders being overpowered to help win games.
