I played a lot of Halo2 back in the day. When all was said and done I was at 53,086 kills. I remember my last game was on Tombstone. What about you?

Played a lot back in the day on my cousins account (didn’t have an Xbox at the time). I honestly don’t know, I do however know I had a positive KD at least.
On XBL 0 because high speed Internet isn’t available at my parents’ house.

is because I think it’s self-explanatory that it’s my last game on XBL. If I said the last game on XBL than that would be confusing but since I didn’t do that, I don’t think it’s confusing.
I don’t remember how many kills I had. Not many. I had one port for an ethernet cable attached to my router. Either my computer could be connected, or my Xbox LIVE could be connected. Since there were many people living in my house at the time, the computer was connected more often. The only time I could play Halo 2 consistently was late at night, when everyone else was asleep. So I did that for a while. I should also note that I finally bought Halo 2 on May 27, 2007, and my first Xbox LIVE Gold subscription was bought in July 2007. So when I say “a while”, I really mean “a few months”. Eventually we upgraded our cable, and I could have the internet and Xbox LIVE connected simultaneously, so I had quite a few games then. But then Halo 3 came out, and I definitely bought that. I played that a lot more than I ever got to play Halo 2. I occasionally returned to Halo 2, to gain some perspective on how Halo multiplayer had evolved into Halo 3.
In early 2010, just after the announcement of the original Xbox server closure, my Xbox 360 died. The red ring of death lit up my life, and sent me into a few-week absence from Xbox LIVE. I got rid of my original Xbox years prior. I had no way to play, and I knew Halo 2 was dying soon. On April 17, 2010, I finally got a new Xbox 360 - a replacement that I didn’t get in time to play any more Halo 2, unfortunately. That was a major bummer in my life. I was high on Halo at the time, and planned to have a few-week binge on Halo 2 to celebrate its lifespan. The death of my Xbox 360 was unexpected.
In January 2011 - two years ago already (oh my gosh) - I decided to invest in Halo 2 Vista. I wrestled with it for a few days to get it working on Windows 7, but I succeeded. It worked. I beat the campaign on Legendary, and got a few friends together for the achievements. I tried to stay on that multiplayer for a little while. I could never find any populated games. The game is super laggy on my more-than-adequate machine. I gave up pretty fast. Seems like there are twenty or less people on Halo 2 Vista at any given time. And when a proper game is found, I have to wrestle with FPS lag. It’s not an ideal replacement. I moved on and kept playing Halo: Reach. That was the end of my Halo 2 journey.

That is a lot of Halo2!
I knew those maps like the back of my hand. They were worth getting to know because there wasn’t invisible barriers everywhere you could jump.
