I’m planning on plugging in my 360 and loading up my old Reach game so I can move the progress over to the cloud and thus the information so I can play where I left off only on my One.
My big question is, after having dropped out of the forums and anything Halo related after the dud that H5 was, how is Halo: Reach on the One? Is it playable or is it better to just keep the 360 plugged in if I want some Firefight matches?
It’s horrible on the xbox one…

How so?
It is basically unplayable on the xboxone. Screen tearing, frame rate issues.
It plays much better on the 360.

Damn. Guess I’ll just set up my 360 for it then. Pity they couldn’t even get that right.

Yeah, it really is a shame. There was a minor update to address some of Halo Reach’s problems, but it didn’t work for everyone. Some people are experiencing sound issues, framerate issues, download errors, and screen tearing. It would just be better to just try it out on the Xbox One, and see how it runs. For me the issues are just minor, and I sometimes deal with it. I much prefer playing it on my 360 though. Welcome back to the forums Foehammer.
For now play on 360 for best performance. The One’s compatibility with it sucks.
I wish the One was okay to play it…
If you are lucky to still have the 360, just play it there.
You guys answered the same question I had.
I get a lot of framerate issues, I don’t experience anything else but that. I probably just jinxed myself.
Makes you really appreciate proper ports. Issues aside, the smoothness of the games in the MCC is quite impressive in comparison. I know they’re two completely differently things (one being an emulator) but still … that’s my point: makes you realize just how much work goes into porting a game.
OP, the campaign is choppy, has poor texture load times, when it gets chaotic your AR will fire slower than the DMR. It’s rough. But matchmaking runs fine for me. Since the patch, I’ve had zero problems playing online. And I play all the time. I think the last patch focused mainly on matchmaking issues.
Why are the servers down on Halo Reach right now? It has been that way since yesterday, I was set as a recruit thus means I cannot play for my k/d which isn’t fun. Does anyone know when it will act normally, and if not thanks for trying?
I haven’t had too much of a problem with the game, except for a couple weeks it just wouldn’t start. So I uninstalled it and reinstalled and it works fine.
How are you guys able to play Reach off of the Xbox One?

It’s backward compatible now just throw in your copy of reach and you can now play on the 'bone.
Well it’s great since 343i fixed the framerate issues definitely do it.
I play it on the one x and have no issues with it lol guess im one of the lucky ones
I’ve figured out my issue there has been a backward compatibility issue lately apparently but I have solved my issue and have been crushing matchmaking since.
