So how fun is Social Slayer?

I’m looking for everyone’s opinion on it, just about to start playing Halo Infinite again to see what it’s like but I want to know what other people think of the playlist

Purple Reign is by far the most fun thing in the playlist. Rocket dodgeball is pretty ok. Kong Slayer would be fun but its so connection-dependent that it ruins it.

I love all the modes in the playlist, especially Purple Reign and Kong Slayer. Pure chaos. Love it.

I do wish the repulsor’s cooldown was a bit shorter in the Rockets & Repulsors gametype.

Purple Reign is way more fun than I expected. I keep trying to reload my bottomless clip though.

Ninja Slayer - Still great but I personally prefer FFA as it can get pretty messy with teams
Purple Reign - I’m not a huge fan of the bottomless clip but the low gravity is fun
Kong Slayer - Great fun best mode in the playlist by far
Dodgeball - Nice speedy game
rock ‘n’ repulsors - Probably the weakest one (desync doesn’t help)

I haven’t played Kong Slayer - are there just more energy coils all over the place? How’s the mode work exactly?

You spawn with a fusion coil and when you throw it another one will spawn in your hands. You don’t need to search for them.

I’m going to have to try the playlist out this weekend and hopefully I can get one of those games!

I only like rocket/repulsor. But in my opinion everything feels soooo laggy and d-sync. Nevermind: if it allows the game to stay alive and keeps players I’m happy !

I don’t like kong slayer. Everything else is goated + based + high rizz factor.

I love the playlist, but why is it not called Action Sack?

Must be because it’s specifically slayer and killing with no specific objectives. It’s like a great look into the future with forge and allowing players to code games.

I agree, just wish forge would also launch with the custom game browser. Seems stupid not to.

Missing a really big piece to the success of social Halo. This Social Slayer playlist is super fun and I’m love it!
