So how does voting for a map work anyways?

So… I’m voting for a map, at this point I’m basically voting for anything that isn’t Complex.
Haven gets 3 votes, and shortly after Complex gets 3 votes.
Yet somehow we play on Complex even though Haven had 3 votes first?
How does this even work? It makes no sense to me.
Shouldn’t the map that had the most amount of votes first be picked?

They are prioritized left to right on the screen.

If 1 and 2 are tied, 1 wins, if 1 and 3 are tied, 1 wins. 2 wins a tie over 3, and 3 always loses ties.

If two voting choices are tied, he tiebreaker goes to the map/gametype that is the furthest to the left.
