I’m asking this as I really have no clue, but how do Elites have a HUD, if they don’t have holographic projectors in front of their eyes, or a screen? The only guess I can make is they have something like contact lenses that display Motion Tracker, Ammo, and all the sorts.
The Elites use either eye coverings to give them their HUD or a neural link like Marines use.
You could ask the same things about Johnson in Firefight.
However they both probably have some sort of high tech contact lenses…
Except for armour with closed helmets, like Spec Ops, Ranger, Commando, etc.
yeah its been stated that they use contact lenses to have their HUD
You can actually see them in-game in Halo 2.
Sangheili also very likely have cybernetics to interface with their armour, much like UNSC marines, ODST, and Spartans. (Probably not as extensive as the Spartan’s ones though.)
