So how about this BS Story

I wanna hear Opinions on Halos story directions, I Personally feel like its gone downhill.

It’s gone in a different direction, that’s for sure, though that is not necessarily a bad thing. Overall I think the story of Cortana becoming the misguided villain was inevitable and I think it works. As with any story though there are good things and bad things and I think the majority of the community has chosen to focus more on the bad.

The Direction of the Story…
When I See Infinite it does feel like we are just getting started!

Personally I didn’t like Halo 4 or Halo 5 story as much. Halo 4 had WAY to many prometheans, things got pretty overwhelming. In Halo 5 you hardly played as Chief. the AI system in the campaign felt useless as well. I hope Halo Infinites story will blow me away!

Personally, I love Halo 4’s story. One of my top 3 favorites of the series. Halo 5 bringing Cortana back from the dead was a big mistake, IMO. Should’ve had Chief dealing with her loss during 5, along with a better story than what we got. Well, hopefully Infinite tells a much better and actually coherent story. It’s not gonna be easy, since it’s going to have to acknowledge and build on what 5 gave us, but hopefully they can do it.

All comes down to the writing for me. Halo 4’s writing was pretty good. Story was told well, dialog was good. Halo 5’s dialog and story was written by someone who really knows how to lie on a resume. Thank goodness we got a new one for a Infinite, and a great one at that!

Forerunners and Prometheans are totally unexplored baddies, yet we got Cortana as the bad guy. Honestly feels like a Saturday morning cartoon plot.

i’d be really happy if halo 6 explored something really exotic like the broken remains of the forerunner capital. But I cant really see any way of tying that into the current evil cortana story.

Maybe a new spin off game based in the halo universe where players get to literally explore the galaxy and do stuff… so much dreaming, or something, not a halo 7 or new fps trilogy something entirely new. Maybe microsoft can dust off freelancer and combo it with the halo universe. We do need freelancer 2, its been decades now

All that matters is that you shoot aliens excessively, and both Halo 4 and 5 deliver on that!
