As in the armor description, it mentions it being a prototype.

Are we going to be seeing an actual ODST armor? One where if you beat Halo 3 ODST from the MCC on legendary or something.

if so, I’d like to see the version from Halo Newblood

No true the info on the soilder armor says that what’s in the armor is also in the latest odst armor so no odst armor for a spartan is not obsolete

Looks at Nightfall, oh would you look at that, standard armour that was not made for Spartans yet our Spartans can wear it. Pretty much any armour variant, regardless of if it was a MJOLNIR gen 1 armour or a metal slab that this one marine based on Reach liked to have over his crotch, it can all be intergrated into the MJOLNIR Gen 2 system. Look at all the classic armour thats come back that you could say are obsolete now, Mark IV Gen 1, Mark V Alpha, Mark VI Gen 1 …etc. They might be outdated but they’ve been configured and tweaked to work with MJOLNIR Gen 2 hardware.

Ps. The ODST armour was available for Spartans using the MJOLNIR GEN 2 tech in Halo 4.
