Like I know it got delayed but I thought it would be out with the mid-season update but the mid-season update was ‘Bug fixes’. That ain’t exciting. Where’s the content? Unless you are seriously trying to tell us that the Store is the only content we will be getting.

It’s delayed because they didn’t ever have a plan for one.
Edit: I get that all games have issues when they release, but the issues are not as much of a problem as much as 343 avoiding legit feedback. Basically hiding, not wanting to face the music, and coming up with excuse for their deliberate poor actions.
Knowing that, I don’t blame the community at all for being upset, because 343 literally cause the negative reactions on this forum.
Communication seems to be the one thing a lot of companies are majorly lacking on or refuse to do these days for whatever reasons. It’s rear that you see a company nowadays set up a Q&A, to show they are willing to work with the community and actually improve their game.
We’ve all seen what this forum has become when it was quite the opposite prior to infinite being released, and I will admit I’m part of that negative reaction. A lot of that had to do with the faith the community put into 343 creating infinite, by how they presented themselves and what they literally said was to be expected when the game released. IMO if 343 was actually willing to work with the community and actually listen to the legit feedback, not just pretend they hear. I believe things would have been far better off.
TBH, I’m feed up with companies pretending things will be one way, but their actions literally show otherwise.
343, you need to wake up. You do realize you nor anyone can hide what is literally put Infront of ones eyes unless they refuse to look? Your actions will always speak a hell of a lot louder than your words.

Roadmaps are more often than not useless, mostly due to the immutable universal law of ‘**** happens.’ Priorities change, management shuffles, tech changes, the industry flips on its head, are but a few things that happen that ultimately make it worthless. The greatest threat to the roadmap is of course time. We were expecting Forge in March(?) and that’s not going to happen if we’re not going to get basic modes like Snipers/Shotties or individually listed modes for Ranked, say.
It would be nice to see some sort of plan, some list of priorities that isn’t set in stone, but the idea of a 10 year plan in this industry is laughable.

over 10 years, sure, but no one’s asking for that. Most of us just want some reassurance that there is content on the way and a rough timeline of what is planned and when they are aiming to release it.

The leakers are doing a relatively good job of showing us what’s coming 
It is a weird one. I can’t wait for new maps and modes but if Forge is as sick as it looks, I’m not sure we even need any the community creations are going to be out of this world.
Would love to know when Forge is coming. Going to have a serious go at making a map as it looks too good to not try.
Hopefully the map drop comes out of nowhere. It’s annoying as feels like it won’t because again leakers are so hot on everything. So seems it could be forever away still.

Seeing as Co-Op and Forge were both delayed, it wouldn’t help to have a roadmap unless they felt they could meet deadlines (which, is discouraging in of itself. They clearly don’t know what they can commit to, and we’re very close to when Season 2 would have started).
That said, not having a roadmap or any idea of what’s ahead 3 months into a “live service” game, six-years in development, is pretty inexcusable – nor do I have any idea how they didn’t have at least a couple additional maps ready to go during their first season, while they worked on Season 2 content.

We’re not getting a roadmap during season 1. We’re half way through it already so it’s not coming anymore now. I will be shocked if this materialises before season 2.
Is there a date for season 2?

They’ve already told us what will be in Season 2 and 3. Which is this years content. Yes there could be nice little trailers or a graph showing a vague title for each of the updates like Halo 5 had. But I don’t think more is coming besides.

Also, I am kind of suspicious they leaked all the Forge stuff intentionally.
The Halo 5 roadmap people compare it to was monthly content updates but really only looked at a similar period of time. Those roadmaps didn’t show much more in terms of map details and content.
For example they’re not going to announce a DLC Campaign in a road map. That’s got to be full cinematic trailer and everything.
I think main concern is that Season 2 isn’t going to deliver that much content. You have Co-op. A Fracture Core. That’s about it. I don’t know what they’re putting in Season Pass 2 since there doesn’t seem to be a new Core there.

Just watch how season 2 will pnly bring 2 maps jajajajajajaajasjaj 6 months just to give us 2 maps i hope i am wrong but 343 only let us down every time

Yeah, I think this season does need to be the map heavy season. Forge you can make the excuse that people can make their own maps. Not ideal.

I actually think they had a roadmap, but had to basically scratch it after launch to address the feedback players were giving. I imagine whatever roadmap we do see is probably way different than what the live teams plans originally were

This could be what happened, but I’m also looking at their actions. At the end of the day the higher-ups make the final call, and who knows what their plans are.

I would be impressed if we get 3 maps a year at the rate 343i are working.

Halo infinite delayed
Watch we won’t get or see Co op till E3 2022.
It’s going to be there big showcase, Campaign Co Op, forge, And a roadmap, showing campaign Co op and forge,
God we basically gave up customizing our own color, unlocking emblems and armor for this…
The trade off was not worth it
Honestly if Co Op campaign is ready to go before season 2 they need to just release it. I hope they aren’t holding on to it just to have content for season 2.
The new policy should be if it’s ready ship it don’t hold off a whole season to drop new content.
Also forge and Co op campaign is not new content, I just consider those late assignments.
