Thoughts on this? In the past, we have always got something. Like a nameplate, I was acknowledged by microsoft as a Halo VIP 2-3 years ago. I honestly feel that those of us who played Halo 2, along with Bungie, made Xbox what it was/is today. I like to show that I was there, since my time as Master Chief is why I stuck with Xbox.
Normally, I wouldn’t really care since Halo hasn’t been anything in quite a while now. But seeing as this is the first Halo game worth playing in ages, I was looking forward to something.
Also I can honestly say this is the worst experience I have ever had with a console game. I am unable to play matchmaking after having to wait 24 hours for the game to download and install (I think this had something to do on Microsoft’s end)… and I can’t do anything other than campaign. Not complaining, but Xbox seems to be on a steady decline.

Probably didn’t happen because of all the crying there would be from people who aren’t eligible. “It’s not fair, waahh, waahh.” Kind of like the people still crying over the fact they never got the Eternal Flames in Reach.

Hell people called it unfair that I had legendary flames in reach calling me a hacker etc. if they want the stuff they could just easily play the other halos.
Personally, being the first Halo game on the xbox one and being a collection of the past Halo games, I think it’s actually quite appropriate that we carry nothing from previous games. It’s a fresh start, a clean slate for old veterans and a beginning for newcomers. Though, we will be seeing cross game unlocks in the future, as we’ve seen with some of the unlockable armors in Halo 5.

halo veterans blah blah blah. There are actual veterans over seas dying for you guys and you have the nerve to complain about a video game franchise. Please we have bigger things to worry about than a video game.
