That’s good. But still has lowest sales in the first week though. But it’s good that’s its sales are going up and Halo popularity is somehow growing.

Hey I may not be a great big fan of Halo 4 or 5, but I love Halo, so any money flowing into 343 that allows them to make Halo 6 great makes me happy. Maybe for 6 we get playable elites? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Vgcharts (which has been known to be unreliable) puts it at around 4 million. Excluding digital sales. total sales could easily be over 5 million.

Why? Halo 2 was able to get over 1/3 of the Xbox install base. Halo 3 also had a 33% attach rate back in 07. So I don’t see it being rediculous.
If this is true, then it frightens me for the future.
Halo 4 had nearly as many sales as Halo Reach. Look what happened to that.

No, it’s units.
Halo 5 had gathered over 400 million in combined hardware sales in the first week. If Halo 5 had only made 5.5 mil then it would have been a complete disaster considering the budget would have been at least 50-100 million.

Over half a year later, it should have 5 million sales. That’s not growing. How many people do you think actually kept playing after Dec due to no game modes or anything else Halo.

Dang now 343 knows they don’t to make good games to get money. Be prepared for Req packs that are worse than supply drops people

It actually isn’t. Back in the original xbox, a little more than 1/3 had Halo 2.

Everyone I know that has an XONE has Halo… though a lot no longer play.
Sales mean nothing. How many people, out of those 5 million copies sold, are still playing the game?
A games success should never be determined by how well it sold, but by how many people continue to play it weeks, months, and years later.
