I played a few h3 matches and while wearing the online armor and it just well fits it seems natural while using it
I don’t mind it, I don’t like some of the Armor like Hivemimd & Compass, but the rest aren’t so bad, I’m rocking Air Assault cause it looks Really good on MCC but probably for a bit until I go back to wearing Mark VI

yeah hive mind is ugly compass its alright but I hate the pioneer one then again I hated the h4 pioneer helm anyway so XD
I also really like the inclusion of the new sets from Halo: Online. Something I find surprising is that the unlike the helmet, Hiveminds legs are one of the best looking in my opinion.
The armors are ugly and really don’t belong with H3’s art style. If some want to use them that’s cool but it’s good that they included a toggle for players who want H3 looking like H3 did back in the day. But I don’t play much H3 so I don’t worry about it. H3 was epic back in the day but has aged the worse IMO, I am sticking with H2A, H2, HCE.

In my opinion, Halo CE has definitely aged worse than Halo 3. The jank in that game, coupled with the horrendous spawning locations, and possibly some of the worst maps from the classic era makes the experience unpleasant at times (if I get Hang 'Em High one more god -Yoink!- time…). Halo 3 on the other hand has some of the best maps in the series. Though I prefer Halo 2’s gameplay. Aside from that, and on to the more relevant point, I think it’s cool that they’re adding new armour to a game from 07, however, I do wish they could have simplified the overly detailed designs so that they fit in better. The majority of them are rather hideous, which also doesn’t help. Especially when most of Halo 3’s armour sets look great, whereas those in the Halo 4 style are mostly the opposite.
I noticed a marketable increase in Team mates killing me while wearing the armor kinda makes you think lol now I feel like I am just wearing it to troll people.

I haven’t seen that thankfully but that’s petty if teammates team kill you over what armor you wear

LethalQ speaking the truth out here. I can’t stand the new armors, but what sucks is I love the weapon skins but I am forced to play with both or neither.
My set up is Eva helmet, security shoulders, tanker legs, air assault arms and chest. Pastel visors and match the visor color with 2nd and 3rd colors. Then primary is white with tinted tech suit. I still need to unlock more armor to mess with it. I have my eye on the tanker arms. I might try the compass arms too.
This looks so much better than halo 4 and 5 armors. The art style makes the armor sets work. I like the new variations they added. I thought it was stupid after it was announced but after having it, its nice. This is the halo 4 and 5 we should have had. If I dont feel like playing 4 or 5 I like to toggle the skins off and man I’m playing halo 3. It works.

I couldn’t see any other reason as to why, I wasn’t using power weapons or holding anyone down or back, im typically near the top of the leader board and I dont snake kills away from people either so the only thing that changed was that I decided to were the hovering armor for the meme of it

well I was betrayed in a big team ctf but im not sure if it was the armor or not I messaged the dude got no response back as well he seemed to be a fresh install like he didn’t know what he was doing at all

The Funny thing is the Halo Online Pioneer Helmet looks remarkably better than the Halo 4 Pimple version, I like the sleek stylish look to it, even though it’s still weird to stare at lmao
I’m a bit surprised that 343 Industries takes the step beyond and adds some of the Halo Online exclusive armors as it’s something that they didn’t have to do but did anyway.
Really enjoying the new armour it looks a lot better in-game.
Edit: coming from someone who isn’t a huge fan of halo 4s Spartan armour.

It’s cool they are adding more armors, but I don’t think these new armors were fully implemented. I noticed when driving a mongoose that the weapon on my spartans back clips right through the new armor. I wonder if one of the armors is able to completely hide what weapon you have on your back. Also none of the new stuff shows up in first person view. When you melee your arm is the same old armor. Same thing when you look at your feet. Maybe it’ll be patched at some point, but until then, I don’t think these armors fit well in the game.
I genuinely prefer tanker over any of the Halo 3 og armors. Fight me.
This question I have will bother me until there is an answer. For Halo 3, what happened to the Hivemind and Navigator arms? They’re not on the list/in game, as all other new armor received complete sets. Maybe they were incomplete before Season 5 launch, or forgot to include them?
