so far 343 has proven to be different from bungie

If bungie were making halo 4, by now they would have released all the weapons and one of the enemies. I guess because 343 has some brand new stuff they don’t want to spoil. Thoughts?

Well, they could be pulling a Halo: CE.

All in do time All in Do TIME …

I’d like to see info, but at the same time I don’t want to. It was awesome receiving all that information on Reach months/weeks before it’s release, but at the same time it killed some of the surprises for me once I played the game. I’m liking that 343 wants to stay tight lipped on things because when they occasionally drop info, it tends to send people off the deep end and gets everyone talking (even if it’s minute details).

When it comes to reveals, I’d rather them keep it locked up to provide a new, mysteries experience for all of us, like Halo CE all over again.

Gameplay mechanics and multiplayer details are more than welcome though.

One does not simply do time.

I’m glad that they are keeping things under wraps. Makes it more suspenseful.

It’s pretty much a given that by release, we’ll know a big chunk of what’s going on in campaign and multiplayer.

Hopefully more multiplayer. It will make certain unnamed groups stop complaining about things as much (which will make many people happy) and even though I’m more interested in campaign, i don’t really want to know that much. multiplayer will show us how gameplay goes and that is enough info for me, really.

Lawl at the Arbiter quote. True. Even if Halo 4 is Halo 2/ halo 3 in a new box, they would still find things to complain about. oops did I name the group(s) by accident?

343i have proven themselves to be the superior developer already, in my eyes.

Rolling the TU out so quickly, they have balls and aren’t afraid of backlash from the casual community.

Look how H3 and Reach turned out…

I think many are just scared because Bungie’s no longer in charge. People are afraid of change and Halo is a passion for many of us. So while I understand that people need to calm down, take a deep breath, and relax. Those of us whom have the Map Packs know what 343 can do, and I gotta say it was an major upgrade visually and for game-play compared to what came with Reach. And I love the TU, Needle Rifle FTW! Patience is the key and so many are way too impatient these days. I’d rather have it be a surprise, not be spoiled early and lose that magical “Wow!” factor before I/we even get to play it.

Well, it is the return of Master Cheif after about 4 years. so they have some secrets for the new sega.

I think itll turn out pretty well for everyone, I feel theres alot of surprises in store. Bungie seemed to keep it pretty close to the chest when it came to change, and honestly what they did change wasnt the best idea(Equipment, Job Abilitys,) besides sprint which should of been around for a long time now. Other job abilitys tend to break the game, while it can be fun to horse around, it doesnt take skill to kill a opponent when your using a jetpack and basically out of there sightline or spamming armor lock just so your bud can kill the person who should of killed you.

I was glad to hear most of the changes will take us back to the game play Halo:CE and Halo:2 offered which was in my opinion more competitive and balanced. I feel alot of the developers at 343i have been around since the beginning they’ve seen plenty of the fans thoughts and now they have a chance to deliver, I believe they will. Whats interesting is the personalization aspect, different armors having different strengths and weaknesses does seem more realistic and allows you create more of the spartan you’ve always wanted to be. My only concern is I hope this doesnt become another Crysis 2 multiplayer(Ugh) where balance is destroyed because someone is a level higher than you and may have completely different abilities that you cant combat.

As in please god no barriers to make you invincible or armor lock in this or I will go simply die… in shame.

I swear people act like the game is coming out tomorrow, relax the game isnt coming out for months we will hear more info the closer it gets to release time(Which is somewhere around October/November im guessing). I can definitely already see distinct art styles and music styles that are unlike Bungie’s Halo games though I agree.

Yeeaanhhh people! Just wait. I like how 343 is kind of trying to keep halo4 a surprise but I agree that it’s kind of annoying at the same time. I wanna see the campaign to see how it is but at the same time I don’t. I have faith in the way that 343 will roll everything out.

In 6 months, you’ll be wishing the 343 Industries didn’t reveal anything about Halo 4.

343 is doing a pretty good job at keeping info under lock and key. There has been no major leaks and on top of that, In all the things they have released, very little information has been given. We know almost nothing about this game.
