I noticed that Extraction was listed in the Crimson DLC…
Will the game mode be available for those of us that do not buy the DLC? (without the new maps of course)
Good question. Extraction is already an available gametype for customs and there are maps (like Ragnarok) that already have the forge pieces for the gametype setup.
Extraction is already available for you to play now! Check it out in Customs!
But it should be an available game type without having to be custom…
Extraction is a really fun gametype, I’m curious how they’ll implement it in the playlists and how they’ll use the extraction objects that disappear or “extract”

I really wanna see make an appearance in Matchmaking.
Whats most likely going to happen is this: It’ll be added to matchmaking playlist for a week or so depending on how popular it is. 343i is slowly introducing and takening down playlist to seemingly keep the population up in there original playlist and to not give us to many options as to what to play (Halo Reach did this to the point were it could be considered ridiculous the amount of playlist options at once that was available).
I’d like to have seen extraction in multiplayer as well along with other classic playlist. Heck I would like to see grifball too, or maybe just bring it back and make the whole playlist double xp like Halo 3, those were fun times.
I wish they would just combine Dominion, Extraction, and CTF and just be done with it…
