So everything except premium season pass and campaign content is fomo content

from what ive seen so far it seems store content from past seasons dont cycle with newer seasons

Never bought anything from the store any way, so makes little difference.

I guess? But we’re not even half way through Season 2… so it’s a bit hard to tell.

Some of the problem is fomo related but I think of a lot of it is that they just don’t have enough cosmetic content developed yet. Hopefully sometime down the road 343 will add a seasonal cosmetics archive section to the store like Destiny 2 has.

Premium Battlepass? No you can buy that even when the season is over I think. As long as its accessible, I don’t consider it fomo.
Campaign Content? What Campaign Content? xD

What’s Fomo’d are three things:

  • Weekly Ultimate cosmetic
  • Seasonal Bundles
  • Event pass

It’s crazy to think that’s the case given how much they hyped up the cosmetic content, and assured us that the coating system was going to be better and allowed their team to get more cosmetics out quicker.

Honestly I would not invest anymore money into this game, it almost get this feeling they are fixing to kinda abandon it and try their hand at a whole new project.

I have been getting strong Anthem Vibes, I remember the whole Cataclysms was their it’s going to revive the game thing and that flopped hard.

I don’t think forge can save the game, they have testers and themselves saying it’s coming along great it’s going to be amazing but they said the same thing about The game overall.

We have yet to see any preview or hear any news, they says it’s because everyone is heads down working on it but it wouldn’t take much to get an outside group to design a small teaser trailer. They have done this before.

That’s good Man I would keep up that pace, I have been getting Strong Anthem vibes from this game.

They keep using the excuse that everyone is heads down working on it so they can’t really show anything.

But they also use their party groups to make the trailers, meaning this wouldn’t impact their current staff.

Just the amount of secrecy and vagueness almost dismissive responses, has bee really concerned if this game is really planning out or of they may shift Al the attention to this rumored BR mode that a totally different studio is working on. Like if that blows up, they may push all efforts that way and just kinda ditch this current model or at the least make it like a dormant occasional fixes here and there

It’s not wrong. All of the content that is not part of the Premium Pass or Campaign Content eventually rotates out. For stuff like the Weekly Store Bundles, you have no idea when they’ll rotate back in. This means that if you don’t buy Warmaster this week, you may never get Warmaster. Buy it now, or you’ll Miss Out.

The Free Pass eventually runs out - if you want those free rewards, best start playing now and a lot at that, or you’ll Miss Out.

The Weekly Ultimates do not refresh, so if you want the Ultimate, you have to do it this week. Best play your heart out, or you’ll Miss Out.

Fracture Entrenched will only run for this Season. Best do it now, or you’ll Miss Out.

This is also true of any events. Really want Sunset Contessa because it’s orange and a super cool coating? TOO BAD, you Missed Out on the Christmas Event. Will the Christmas Event come back? Who knows, probably not likely.

These systems are built around making the player feel like they’re missing out if they don’t play within a given time-period. All systems related to customization outside of the Premium Pass and Campaign Content, are subject to running out. If you don’t get them now, you’re going to Miss Out.
