So even though wednesday's update was'nt called a drop pod, due to the lack of a drop pod this month. Should we consider it a drop pod now since 343 said they were meant to be monthly drops?

So according to what we had heard, a drop pod is meant to be a monthly pack of changes and updates for S2. However so far we’ve been 1 month into S2 and theres been no mention of a drop pod so far.
I would’ve expected at least a mention of their progress in crosscore since no one seems interested in investing on the eagle strike core currently.
What do you all think?
Will their monthly updates be like that which we got this wednesday whenever these updates have no content? And if so, can we expect updates named “drop pods” every 2 or 3 months?

I thought drop pods were advertised to be just a ‘release as soon as its ready’ thing as opposed to a fixed number.

Our player-facing term for QoL updates that land during Seasons is “Drop Pods.” And much like their ODST namesakes, these release vehicles are meant to drop in hot, just as soon as they’re ready. Our target is one Drop Pod every month, and you can expect Drop Pods to vary in scope and size. We’ll have more to share about what’s going into Season 2’s Drop Pods as soon as possible after Season 2 launch.
