So does Oversheild do NOTHING for Spartan Charge?

I was just 1 shot from a Spartan Charge when I had a near-full oversheild
Why?..This is STUPID

Was it from behind? Melee attacks kill from behind no matter what

I have been Spartan charged with full overshield and Died. My Spartan lays on the ground twitching still with Full Overshield

If it’s from behind, then no.

This Leads me to believe that the Spartan Charge Does a Damage of somewhere between 200-300 Percent.

Kinda stupid that I can spawn an oversheild then instantly die…with the oversheild still on my dead spartan.

I refute this. A friend and I went up against an overshielded opponent. I slid into him, firing multiple pistol rounds into his groin while my friend spartan charged him. There seemed to be a period of time after the charge where I shot him and I scored the kill. It was a funny coincidence.

Am I the only one whose spartan charge does the same amount of damage as a melee?

Ikr?

Don’t forget about when you jump and thrust away from a Charge, knowing you’ve cleared it by miles… and still get instantly REQ’d.

You must of gotten back charged cause no way you’re dying from the front from 1 charge especially with over shield

Yes. A back smack is an instant kill in all cases. Overshield has never protected you from that. The overshield is mostly likely still on your spartan because the Beat Down instant kill doesn’t need to check or change your health or shields. It just triggers death.

Spartan Charge is not an instant kill from the front.

A punch(assassinations off), a melee(assassinations on) and spartan charges are all the same, shields off if hit in the front and dead if in the back. All it changes is that Beat Downs can be stopped and Spartan Charges have a knockback.

300 percent… what?

All melee attacks one-shot to the back, that’s how the game works, and spartan charge never kills in one shot to the front.

I assassinated some guy who had an overshield just the other day, it was great.
