That there are way too many new people on these forums? Like for real just a couple of days ago a thread I make or one I’m participating in would stay on the front page for at least 30minutes to 1 hour before descending into the abyss but now it’d be lucky to last 5 minutes on the front page.
Like geesh where the heck where are of yall previously?

Yeah but I typically don’t use forums and get games after launch so this is new… I’m not even sure what brought me to this forum
It’s probably just because I’m here lol. And I plan to be much more active now anyway on account of how my last forum adventure ended. (But that’s a story for another day and is beyond the scope of this thread.)

Personally, i came here to find a group of friends so that when I have a group to run with on launch day.
I think that the companies brought all us new members. It gave more of a motivation to join the forums and get out there. Plus, you know, it’s better now.

OP at the launch of games the forums become super active and uber happy. On the Launch hours it consists of people complaining about Australian Privilege cause timezones and crap. Once the game has completed its world wide launch the forums are mostly quiet before the intense amount of nitpickers appear and start hating. Then the next few weeks are always haters no matter what. They will complain about the story, multiplayer, aesthetics, box art and the supposed false advertising. After about a month the haters will disappear and the forums will return to standard with mostly inactivity, bug reports, and the Survivors role play.
Then you have guys like me who kept thinking someone else would get on here and beg for something you really wanted (a 4v4 CE playlist). Then realize if everyone else thought that way nobody would say anything. Then realize there have been people saying what you had meant to say all along.
But every little bit helps. And now we have a 4v4 CE playlist! (Which I played for about ten hours yesterday after calling in sick.
And now that I know how the forums work I’ll probably stick around.
1.) Clickbait titles like this make me unreasonably angry.
2.) It’s most likely because of Spartan Companies, and people getting their accounts ready for when they turn on stats so they can learn to navigate it when the game launches. They’ll disappear when the game launches. (I will admit that I am one of those who showed up because of the hype.)
i started coming regularly because of the recruiting section. i wanted the helioskrill armour before launch (got it!) and have been checking in regularly since… can’t say i’m disappointed so far.

Don’t ever make posts like this. It will get you banned for up to a month! Only post when you have something meaningful to say about what the topic of the thread is.
I see the forums blowing up through christmas and after with questions/ tips/ complaints etc for the entire game. Plus people looking for help with achievements and ranks
